How to shoot a group of photographic subjects?

How to shoot a photography project? How to shoot well?

You must follow seven steps.

First, words are the soul of a picture.

Words complement each other and can bring unexpected effects to the works. Can touch the temperament, deepen the artistic conception, and further tell the meaning of the unfinished picture. There are more and more people who are good at photography and writing, especially young photographers. When these two different ideas are applied to a work at the same time, there are often surprises.

Second, design visual expression structure.

Theme photography can be single-line or double-line, progressive or parallel, or interspersed in several forms. Either way, what needs attention is the overall sense of rhythm and coordination.

A good photographer is good at grasping the visual rhythm, rather than pouring out facts and photos like a bag of muggles. It is not easy to do this. You can seize a wonderful moment by luck, but if you want many wonderful moments to live in harmony, you need to practice by yourself.

In fact, there are not many photographers who pay attention to structure. People usually think that as long as there are enough photos, a book can be compiled. In fact, even when shooting, a sense of rhythm and coordination has been formed, and it is possible to show it in the end.

To put it simply, you should make sure that even if you finally show people 1000 photos, you should always keep readers interested and don't feel repetitive, boring and boring. Moreover, people understand and think through your image, at least putting a question mark in their hearts.

Third, shoot ready-made products of metaphor.

No one stipulates that theme photography can only use one style or one type of image language. But what needs to be clear is that the language you choose is the visual language of "speaking with pictures", which is the language that lets your inner thoughts shape and watch. Many people think that photography is "telling stories with pictures". Speaking with pictures is not the same as telling stories with pictures.

Photography, in essence, is not used for narration, or rather, narration is not its strong point. The power of photography lies in its metaphor.

A good picture lies not in how much information it records, but in how deep metaphors it shows. It doesn't depend on information to survive. It is independent, immortal and full of vitality, with its own interpretation of the world, which is irreplaceable by another way. Therefore, real photographers always spread the wings of metaphor and fly to the kingdom of freedom. When a photographer enters the realm of metaphor from the gate of narration, there will be a qualitative leap.

Fourth, choose materials and do your homework.

There are no strict restrictions. It should be pointed out that:

1. Choose a subject that you are really interested in, passionate and moved to devote yourself to. Don't force yourself for any reason. Because in the end, you will find that there is nothing you can do.

2. Choosing topics related to personal experience and knowledge reserve is relatively easy to get started. If a photo is the embodiment of expressive ability, then it reflects your whole state and accumulation. Therefore, it must first produce a * * * sound with itself.

3. Choose topics related to the reality and psychology of most people, help them watch and say what they want to say.

The power of photos is finally spreading.
