Sketch skills and matters needing attention:

Sketching skills:

Sketching skills are to master the perspective relationship, basic structure, modeling and light-shade relationship between objects. It is very important to learn to look at the structural relationship of objects, especially when you are just beginning to learn sketch. If we can handle the structure of the object and the relationship between light and shade, the drawn object will look full.

There should be a specific object when sketching, which is influenced by external factors such as environment, light and shadow. When sketching, we should take the structure of an object as a whole, take a long-term view, consider the relationship between objects, and make the whole picture good.

Matters needing attention in sketch:

1, painting posture and position selection

Correct painting posture is helpful to the overall observation and the application of expression methods. When painting, the body should be about one arm away from the drawing board. If possible, the drawing board should be placed on an easel. If there is no easel, the drawing board can be placed on your lap. The easel is usually placed in front of the painter, and the best distance between the painter and the sketched object is usually between 3 times and 5 times the height or width of the object. Good habits help to improve painting skills.

2. Holding the pen

There is a difference between the pen-holding method of drawing and the usual writing method. The usual method of holding a pencil is to hold the pencil with thumb, forefinger and middle finger, and the little finger is supported on the drawing board (or suspended) as a fulcrum, and the line is drawn by the movement of the wrist. Only when depicting the details, I will use the pen-holding posture as usual, but I still use the fulcrum of my little finger to move my wrist to complete it.
