Huashan Mountain One-Day Tour Route Selection

There are two ways to visit Huashan Mountain, including cableway climbing and hiking. "Huashan Mountain has been a road since ancient times". Hiking can be divided into Climbing during the day and climbing at night. But for a day trip, climbing time during the day is not enough. Basically you can only choose cableway climbing or night climbing.

There are two cableways in Huashan, namely the Xifeng Cableway and the North Peak Cableway. The Xifeng Ropeway is longer and takes longer, about 20 minutes. The scenery is good, but the ticket price is more expensive than the Beifeng Cableway. The Beifeng Cableway is short, only takes about 8 minutes, and is the lowest peak in Huashan Mountain. The ticket price is relatively cheap.

: There are several ropeway riding options below:

1. The route above the West Peak and below the North Peak:

After getting off the West Peak ropeway, it is recommended to go straight to the South Peak The "Long Sky Plank Road". It is recommended that you don’t spend too much time taking photos. First play the "Long Sky Plank Road", and then go straight to the "Kite Turnover" in the east wind. After the "Kite Turnover" is completed, you can slow down and complete the shot with east wind and center and west wind.

If you don’t play the “air plank road” and “kite flipping”, it will take about two hours to visit the west, south, east and middle peaks. If you want to play, please add your own queue time. After visiting the four main peak areas, walk along the scenic area signs to the Beifeng Cableway (it takes about three hours to take pictures), and then transfer to the Beifeng Cableway to go down the mountain. This route is suitable for those who arrive early and have plenty of time.

PS: During the peak season, it is recommended to go down the mountain early, because you have to pass through the Jinsuoguan Pass where only two or three people can walk abreast, so going down the mountain will be very slow. In addition, there will be a shopping area on the way to Xifeng Ropeway. Occasionally scammers with children will set up scams there. If you need to shop, please be vigilant.

2. The route above the North Peak and below the West Peak:

Since the North Peak is the lowest peak in Huashan, the tour route starting from the North Peak will consume more energy. After a long day of sightseeing, it is inevitable that you will feel some physical or mental fatigue. At this time, it is not cost-effective to take the Xifeng Ropeway down the mountain for a long time. So this route is not recommended.

3. The route up and down the North Peak:

The up and down route is the northern peak. Walk from the North Peak to the Main Peak Scenic Area. After walking around for a while, we returned to the North Peak Cableway and went down the mountain. This is the most economical route except hiking, but it takes about three hours to walk back to the North Peak, which is quite time-consuming, so it is not recommended for day trippers to take this route.

4. Route up and down the West Peak:

Going down from the West Peak without going to the North Peak is the fastest and easiest route. It only takes about two hours to walk (excluding the time to queue up to play "Aerial Plank Road" and "Kite Flip"). Of course, the shortcomings are also obvious. The cost is the most expensive, and it will leave you with a little regret if you can’t visit all the attractions. But it’s suitable for those who are nervous and don’t have obsessive-compulsive disorder.

5. Hiking the "Guhua Mountain Road" at night

Depending on physical strength, it takes about 5 to 8 hours from the mountain gate to the east peak. If you follow the extreme mountain climbing route for 5 hours without stopping to take photos, if you climb all the way and if you stop frequently to take photos, 8 hours is more than enough. Many people who hike Huashan Mountain choose to hike at night because they can catch the east wind before dawn to watch the sunrise. It usually takes tourists about 3 hours to go down the mountain.

6. Walk along Huashan Road.

It takes about 3 hours because the lighting effect is not as good as "A Road in Ancient Hua Mountain" and it is very steep. There is still a winding road to reach the entrance, so it is not recommended to climb at night.
