Go to Mount Tai from Shanghai, 3-4 days

Because you don’t want to go shopping after climbing the mountain, it is recommended that you climb the mountain on the last day. After climbing Mount Tai at night, you can go home and rest directly after descending the mountain during the day the next day. You might as well listen to my suggestions below.

First of all, the transportation is very convenient. The Shanghai-Tai'an-Jinan high-speed rail is one line. The high-speed rail from Tai'an to Jinan only takes 20 minutes, one hour by train, and one and a half to two hours by car.

On the first day, take the Shanghai high-speed rail or train directly to Jinan. Baotu Spring and Daming Lake are essential. For food, go shopping in Furong Street, there are many snacks~ Stay in Jinan for a day or a day and a half, and prepare to leave for Tai'an the next day.

The next day, a new Fangte opened in Tai'an. I personally don't like this kind of amusement facilities, so I haven't been there, but according to classmates who have been there, it is still good. If you want to go, the time of day is just right. After playing and eating something, you can go hiking in the evening. If you don’t like this kind of thing, you can go to Dai Temple. It is one of the three major palaces in China. The high walls and gates outside are more interesting~

~~~I just went for a night hike on May Day Taishan, so I am happy to share it with you. We started climbing at 10:30 the night before. The climb was very easy. We walked for a while and rested for a while. We arrived at Zhongtianmen (halfway of Mount Tai) before 1 o'clock. We felt it was too early, so we climbed up and it was windy and cold. So I rested for an hour at Zhongtian Gate before continuing. Finally, we reached the top before 5 o'clock, so Mount Taishan is relatively easy to climb. If you have good physical strength, I think it’s completely late to go up at 11 or 2 o’clock~
If you climb Mount Taishan at night, it’s best to bring a small flashlight. We bought it from the foot of the mountain and it’s not expensive. It's quite windy at the top of the mountain, so it's better to bring a jacket. As you climb up the mountain, you won’t be able to eat anymore. If you are not too tired, bring 2-3 bottles of water. They are also sold on the road for 5 yuan, and the most expensive ones are less than 8 yuan. Well, that's pretty much it. The most exciting thing is when I came down from Nantianmen, it was so steep that you can’t even imagine that I climbed up from such a steep place at night, haha! After watching the sunrise, we walked to the foot of the mountain, just in time to have lunch. I recommend a place that sells pancakes rolled with green onions. There is a pancake wrap inside, which is quite unique. The tofu is also a specialty of Tai'an. Their freshly ground tofu is also good~
After eating, I went straight to Tai'an Station, you can go home and rest~
Additional: High-speed trains and high-speed trains stop at Tai'an Station, which is in the west of Tai'an City and far away from the city; general trains stop at Taishan Station , in the urban area ~ but Tai'an is not big, I personally think it is not much different.
