According to the announcement on the official website of the Chinese Embassy in Serbia, Serbian citizens and Chinese holding ordinary passports officially exempted each other from visas on January 15, 2017, which means that Chinese people can bring their passports without applying for a visa. You can go to Serbia, but you will be questioned by customs for about 30 minutes during the entry process.

Chinese citizens holding diplomatic passports, service passports, or ordinary service passports can enter the country without a visa, and the period of stay is no more than 90 days in six months. Residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region can enter Serbia without a visa with a valid passport, and the stay period does not exceed 14 days. Residents of the Macao Special Administrative Region can enter Serbia without a visa with a valid passport, and the stay period does not exceed 90 days.

Things to note when going to Serbia

1. The locals definitely speak “Serbian”! However, young people can understand English. If your English is not good, it is recommended to download some translation apps on your mobile phone, such as Youdao Translate, Google Translate, etc.!

2. When traveling to Serbia, it is recommended to exchange for Euros or US dollars at home. Euros are better, after all, it is Central Europe. It will be very troublesome in an emergency.
