What are the main tourist attractions in Chongqing?

1. Chaotianmen Chaotianmen (see Figure 7-9) is located at the confluence of the Yangtze River and Jialing River. Named after Nanjing, the son of heaven, it was the gateway to Chongqing in the Ming Dynasty.

2. Dazu Stone Carving Dazu Stone Carving is located in Dazu County, Chongqing. The first batch of 5A scenic spots in China have been included in the World Cultural Heritage List. It has more than 40 stone carvings and more than 50,000 statues. Dazu stone carving (see figure 7- 10) represents the highest achievement of China's grotto art in the middle of the 9th century ~13rd century, and is the last monument of China art ... Dazu stone carving is exquisite, exquisitely carved, rich in content and extremely artistic.

Three Gorges of the Yangtze River The Three Gorges of the Yangtze River is one of the 40 key scenic spots in China. As the general name of Qutang Gorge, Wuxia Gorge and Xiling Gorge, it is the most magnificent landscape corridor on the Yangtze River, with a total length of 192km, and is often called the Three Gorges. In addition, there are the Daning River Small Three Gorges and the Madu River Small Three Gorges. Mountains stand on both sides of the river, and Cui Wei is a skyscraper, quiet and handsome. Among them, Qu, Wu Xiaxiu, Xiling Baohe and watching the Three Gorges sex are famous. The Three Gorges of the Yangtze River (see Figure 7- 1 1) is one of the cradles of ancient culture in China, where the famous Daxi culture originated.

4. Tiankeng Ground Fissure Tiankeng Ground Fissure is located in fengjie county, a national key scenic spot and a World Natural Heritage List. Its main features are strange geological landscapes such as tiankeng and ground fissures. The vertical maximum depth of Xiaozhai tiankeng is 662 meters, which is the largest typical karst funnel in the world. The ground fissure in Tianjingxia (see Figure 7- 12) has a maximum cutting depth of 600m, which is an extremely rare ground fissure karst canyon in the world.

5. Baidicheng Baidicheng, formerly known as Ziyang City, is said that in the last years of the Western Han Dynasty, Gongsun Shu was divided into Sichuan and claimed to be King Shu. Seeing that a well here often emits white smoke, which looks like a white dragon, I called myself Baidicheng, so I built my capital here and changed this place to Baidicheng.

Located on the north bank of Qutang Gorge, Baidicheng stands at the top of Bai Di, with Kuimen in the east, Bazhen in the west and surrounded by water on three sides. There are statues of Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang in the Bai Di Temple in the city. When you enter the city, you can feel the victory of "Kuimen is the best in the world".

6. Ghost Town of Fengdu (see Figure 7- 13), located on the north bank of the Yangtze River at Chongqing 172km, is an ancient city famous for its magical legends and ghost culture at home and abroad, and is known as "the hometown of divine comedy in China" and "the capital of human souls". Fengdu Scenic Area has lush trees, exquisite architecture and intoxicating scenery. The statues of temples and halls are Rosen, and pavilions stand on the mountains. Celebrities are elegant, and the poems are meaningful.

The main scenic spots are China's largest dynamic folk culture and human landscape, such as the Ghost Country Shrine and the "underworld" statues, with unique ideas and realistic expressions. There are inscriptions by celebrities such as Su Shi, Lu You and Fan Chengda on the mountain.

7. Other scenic spots include Hongyan Village, Geleshan Martyrs Cemetery, Chongqing People's Auditorium, Jinyun Mountain, Nanbei Hot Spring Park, Jinfo Mountain, Simian Mountain, Marshal Nie Exhibition Hall, Furong River, Marshal Liu Bocheng's former residence, Dachang Ancient Town, Gongtan Ancient Town, Juda Cave Peach Blossom Garden, Qingxi Village Tunnel Site, Xiushan Lantern Festival and other scenic spots.
