Which mountain is Jiangnan Poetry Mountain?

The Shishan Mountain in Jiangnan is Jingting Mountain.

The famous ancient Chinese Bai Juyi, Du Mu, Liu Yuxi, Wang Wei, Meng Haoran, Li Shangyin and Su Dongpo all climbed Jingting Mountain to compose poems for them. Among them, Li Bai's "Sitting Alone on Jingting Mountain" made this place famous far and wide. The painting monk Shi Tao of the Qing Dynasty even lived in Guangjiao Temple at the foot of Jingting Mountain, leaving behind the "Shi Tao Arhat Hundred-Open Album" that has been passed down through the ages.

Jingting Mountain has 60 peaks of various sizes, among which the highest main peak is only 317 meters, but it also perfectly proves the saying "If a mountain is not high, it will be famous if it has immortals".

Before the liberation of Xuancheng in our country, almost all the ancient buildings on Jingting Mountain were destroyed. So the scenic spots we see on the mountain now were all rebuilt after liberation, and there are 24 large and small ones. However, this also reflects the importance our country attaches to this mountain, and also reflects the very important significance of Jingting Mountain. .

In May 2009, the "Jingting Mountain Scenic Area Master Plan" and the "Jingting Mountain Scenic Area Tourism Development Master Plan" were reviewed and approved.

According to the new plan, Jingting Mountain Scenic Area is positioned as a public welfare urban park integrating leisure, play and entertainment, focusing on the construction of Twin Towers, Independent Tower, Yifeng and Wanling Lake Scenic Area, and adding Phoenix Mountain Scenic Conservation Area and Scenic Coordination Area.

In 2014, the Jingting Poetry Trail project to "cast the soul" of Jingting Mountain was officially launched.
