Polish work visa can go to Germany and France; Are you going on a trip?

Poland, Germany and France are all Schengen countries, so you can travel to any Schengen country with a Polish visa. Please note that the concepts of EU and Schengen area are different.

According to the latest Schengen list, there are 25 borderless countries in Europe:

Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France,

Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg,

Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden,

Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland,

Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Malta and Switzerland.

The borders of 25 countries are open, and EU residents can cross the previously strict road, railway and waterway border crossings without showing their passports. According to the regulations, airports in member countries also implement this measure. At the same time, non-EU people with visas from any country in the Schengen area can also travel freely in the "borderless zone" of Greater Europe.

Schengen area refers to the area composed of 26 European countries that fulfilled the Schengen Agreement signed in Schengen Town, Luxembourg in 1985. For international travelers, this area is very much like a single country. Border control is needed to enter and leave this area, but there is almost no border control between countries in this area.

The Schengen area includes Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland, as well as Monaco, San Marino and Vatican. Although there are also non-EU countries, the Treaty of Amsterdam adopted in 1999 formally regards the Schengen Agreement as a part of EU law. Except Ireland and Britain, all other EU countries are required to implement the existing Schengen norms, but Bulgaria, Romania, Cyprus and Croatia have not yet fulfilled the agreement. At present, the population of Schengen District exceeds 400 million, with an area of 43 12099 square kilometers [1].

Following the existing Schengen norms will help to cancel the border control between countries in the region and strengthen the external border control with non-member countries. The Schengen Agreement contains a series of policies on temporary entry (including Schengen visa), coordination of external border control and transnational police cooperation.

According to different regulations in different countries, you may need a passport or recognized identification to complete the identity check at the airport, hotel or police station. At the same time, Schengen countries occasionally implement routine border controls.
