Scenic spot design

Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum was designed by Lv Yanzhi, and the overall planning was in the shape of an alarm bell, which coincided with Sun Yat-sen's political will to "arouse the people". Mausoleum design makes full use of the terrain, and arranges the main buildings such as memorial archway, mausoleum gate, tablet pavilion and memorial hall from low to high on the south gentle slope of Zijin Mountain. Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum draws lessons from the symmetrical layout of ancient tombs in China, connecting the main building with the pyramid-shaped mound and steps as the axis, and arranging a large area of green space to connect the mausoleum building into a grand whole commensurate with the background mountain. The main building of the mausoleum adopts the shape of the big roof of the classical palace building in China, applies the design and construction technology of western architecture, and shows a calm atmosphere with solemn blue and white and rigorous architectural configuration. It is regarded as a classic in the history of modern architecture in China, which combines Chinese and Western styles. Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum was listed as the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units in China on 196 1, and became the first batch of national 5A-level tourist attractions in 2007.
