Good places to visit in Guizhou

Guizhou tourist places: Huangguoshu Waterfall, Fanjing Mountain, Asilixi.

1. Huangguoshu Waterfall

Huangguoshu Waterfall has always been the representative of Guizhou’s tourism industry, but Huangguoshu has undergone many changes since the 1990s. Huangguoshu Waterfall is the largest waterfall in Asia. There are 18 other waterfalls around it, forming the largest waterfall group in the world.

When you arrive at Huangguoshu Waterfall, you can not only see the waterfall, but also the caves and Buyi villages. Huangguoshu Scenic Area contains the first Buyi protected village in China - Huashi Shao. Near Huangguoshu there are Buyi villages such as Shitou Village and Gaodang Village.

2. Fanjing Mountain

Fanjing Mountain is located at the junction of Jiangkou County, Yinjiang County and Songtao County in Tongren City, Guizhou Province. It is one of the five famous Buddhist mountains in China. The most famous mountain in Guizhou, it was selected as a World Natural Heritage in 2018. Mount Fanjing is a national nature reserve, home to Guizhou golden monkeys, Davidia involucrata and other nationally protected animals and plants.

On Mount Fanjing, you can not only see geological wonders such as mushroom rocks, but also thousands of acres of alpine rhododendrons in spring, and spectacular snow scenes in winter. There are many ethnic villages scattered under Fanjing Mountain, such as Yunshe Village - the first Tujia village in China; Zhaiying Ancient Village - the hometown of Chinese Gunlong Art; Qishuping Qiang Village - the only Qiang village in Guizhou, etc.

3. Asilixi

Asilixi is an emerging scenic spot in Guizhou and a seasonal scenic spot located in Hezhang County, Bijie City.

Asili West Scenic Area mainly consists of three parts, namely Dajiucaiping, which is the largest wild chive flower growing place in the world; Xiaojiucaiping, which is the highest peak in Guizhou and is known as the roof of Guizhou; and It's the Asilisi Steppe. The best time to visit Asili West Scenic Area is in late summer and early autumn, when 300,000 acres of wild leek flowers are developed, which is like entering paradise.
