At that time, gold was carried from Mataran to the foot of the volcano, then thrown into the lake, replaced by volcanic rocks, and moved down from the mountain to offer sacrifices. Now, in the north of Mataran, the capital of Lombok, there is a temple called Linsa, which is dedicated to various mountain gods, water gods, Vulcan gods and stones from Lingani volcano.

Climbing an active volcano is still very challenging for ordinary people, so please be fully prepared when you decide to climb this active volcano. Generally speaking, it takes 3 days and 2 nights to reach the top of the mountain. If you are a professional hiker, you can reach the top in two days 1 night, but it will be very hard.

As for the climbing time, Lingani Volcano is open from April to 65438+February every year, especially from May to 65438+ 10 every year, which is the best season. There are 17 diving spots around the Geely Islands, most of which are suitable for divers of all levels. In the north of GiliTrawangan, there is an excellent place to watch large marine life. The flat sand bed gradually turned into a deep valley parallel to the coast. This is probably the most popular diving spot in the Geely Islands, because this place can see all kinds of marine life, reef sharks, cuttlefish, stingrays, parrot fish, shallow turtles and so on hovering in the canyon. In a gently sloping coral reef south of GiliTrawangan, there are all kinds of hard corals and soft corals, and shelfish and large corals are scattered. Few people were present here. This is a good diving place, close to reef sharks, stingrays, cuttlefish, octopus and manta rays.

You can also take the diving certificate in Lombok, but few coaches in China need to make an appointment in advance. Teaching is all formal PADI teaching. Originally, I was going to Lombok to take the diving certificate this time. In the end, I didn't participate because of physical reasons, so I chose to experience diving. The diving research in Lombok is relatively more expensive than Semporna, but cheaper than Saipan. I finally got my diving license in Semporoto. I haven't rented a camera to go underwater yet. Unfortunately, there are no photos. Underwater definition is very high. You can see many animals, but you don't know all the animals. I can buy a fish book next time. The beaches suitable for surfing in Lombok are kuta beach and Selong Beach. Shengji used to take more than an hour by car, so it was more cost-effective to charter a car. There are surfing instructors on the beach, and you can rent surfboards. The price is not high. It seems that my male ticket coach and surfboard spent more than 200 hours. However, surfing requires a lot of energy, but after many attempts, he can even stand on the surfboard for a while. He had a good time, haha.

5. Sasak people

This village is where the aborigines live in Lombok, Welissa Gonzaga. Lombok is inhabited by people from various countries and nationalities, scattered and scattered. In Sasak village, architecture and tribal living habits have maintained their traditional characteristics, and have not been fundamentally changed due to external influences. You can stroll through the ancient buildings, see the living habits of the villagers and feel the order and atmosphere of the tribe.

6. Pink Beach

Powder beach is located in the southeast of Lombok and Geely Island. Bullshit.

First of all, the pink beach is not pink. The sand in the powder beach is composed of red sand and white sand, which is scattered all over the floor under the strong sunlight and looks pale pink to the naked eye. Especially when the sun is about to set, the light is projected on the beach, and the beach is romantic and beautiful pink, which is one of the reasons that attract many people to come here, hence the name pink beach. The seaside is suitable for shooting sunsets. If you want to take wedding photos on the beach, it is also a romantic and unique enjoyment to have this rare beauty. Pink beach is not only a beautiful beach, but also a good place for snorkeling. It is also more interesting to take pictures on the cliffs of pink beach.

Pink beach actually belongs to Lombok, but the direct road to pink beach is very poor, and it can only be reached by motorcycle. Therefore, we usually go to the pier and then take a boat to the powder beach. You need to cross the whole Lombok obliquely to reach the pier. From the pier to the powder beach, you will pass through sandbars, and these places are also beautiful, such as offshore telephone poles. Because it takes a long time to go to the powder beach, it is best to set aside a day for the powder beach. There is also a pink beach, which is not necessarily pink every day, and it has something to do with the light. Be prepared for this.

7. Three islands of Geely

The earliest and most comprehensive tourism development in Lombok is the three islands of Geely in the west of Lombok. Their three names are Gerald Wang En, Geely Meno and Geely Il Geely Il. The chartering dock from Lombok to Geely Island is called teluknara, and then it takes about 15 minutes by yacht. There are many shipping companies. It is best to make an appointment in advance. There are many snorkeling and diving shops with similar prices, so it is more convenient to book in advance. The west side of Geely Island faces Bali. If the weather is fine, you can see Mount Agung in Bali. The west area is much quieter than the east area, and the hotel design is much better. OmbakSunset, a five-star sunset hotel, is the best sunset viewing place in the whole island and where I live.

The main means of transportation on T Island are horse-drawn carriages and bicycles. When you first arrive at T Island, you can take a carriage to the hotel if you have more luggage. It's best to rent a bike to live in Geely Island. Generally, it only costs about 50 thousand a day. Much more convenient and much cheaper. It only takes more than an hour to ride around the island by bike, and one of them is the beach road that needs to be pushed by yourself. There is also an ATM on Geely Island, and you can withdraw money directly with UnionPay. It is not recommended to exchange money at moneychanger here because the exchange rate is very poor. As you can see in the picture below, Area A is the dock area, and Area C is the busiest area, with many bars and barbecue stalls. The distance between Geely Meno and Geely T Island is about 500 meters. The two islands are very close. M Island in Geely is not as crowded as T Island, and it is quiet. There are also many 4-star hotels suitable for couples' honeymoon. There is also a small lake on the island, just by the sea. Of course, you can watch the sunset or something. However, there are only two buses every day from the public pier in Lombok to M Island in Geely. Generally speaking, the best way to get to Geely M Island is to charter a boat or take a bus. There is a snorkeling spot for underwater statues near M Island, and many snorkeling tours will go there.

There are some similarities between Gil Island and Gilimono Island. There are relatively fewer people on the island than on T Island. There are many diving shops on an island, and the accommodation is cheaper. In April 2006, ombak Group on Geely Island opened a new hotel on the island. The hotel swimming pool is 5 meters deep and is specially used for deep diving teaching. You can experience it when you have a chance. The same traffic on Geely A Island is bicycles and carriages. If you live here, it will be much more convenient to rent a bicycle. There is a famous diving spot called Fish Park nearby, which is also a place where many snorkeling day trips will go.

Nanji Archipelago consists of many small islands. Usually, tourists in Lombok will have a trip here to see the sea, play in water or snorkel. Some islands are well known, while others are still waiting to be discovered. Among them, Geely Sudak, Geely Dis and Geely Nangu belong to the latter. Because there are few tourists, it is a secret island with a little uninhabited concept, and the atmosphere is natural and primitive. Geely Sudak, Geely Dis, Geely South Valley and Geely Yaya are in the southwest of Lombok.

The waves near Geely Sudak, Gilica Dis and Geely Nangu are very gentle, unlike the waves in the northern islands, which are more suitable for swimming on the shore. The names of the four East Geely Islands in the northeast of Lombok are Geely Kondo, Geely kapal, gilliland Pu and Geely Bidarra. They face the Lingani volcano in Lombok and return to Songbaowa Island. The sea water is cleaner than Geely T/M/A Island, but it is far away.
