Where is the American tourist resort Carmel?
Carmel is an exquisite seaside town in Monterey Peninsula, USA. Its full English name is Carmel by the sea. It is located about two miles south of Seventeen Mile Road (17 mile), a famous tourist attraction on the west coast of the United States, and about two hours' drive from San Francisco.
You can start from San Francisco, drive northeast from Market St to S Van Ness Ave, turn right, enter 10th St, turn left slightly, go to San Jose, exit to Monterrey/Peninsula, take CA- 156 W, and continue on. The whole journey takes about 2 hours.
