The villagers in Huangguqing near the volcanic hot sea also evacuated urgently, but there was no large-scale landslide accident caused by mudslides in the scenic spot. Zheng Chuanwei, director of the Tengchong County Tourism Bureau Office, said that July and August are the tourist season in Tengchong. In recent days, the number of tourists visiting Rehai has remained at more than 800, which is almost the same as usual. Although it has been raining, it has not affected the interest of tourists.

Tengchong Volcanic Rehai is a national 4A-level scenic spot and a world-famous volcanic geothermal area. There are more than 80 large-scale gas springs and hot springs, attracting more than 100,000 Chinese and foreign tourists/kloc-0,000,000 people every year.

According to Zheng Chuanwei, the volcanic hot sea scenic spot is more than 80 kilometers away from the "7. 19" debris flow site and has not been directly affected. At the same time, the forest coverage rate in the scenic area is very high, and soil erosion rarely occurs. It is unlikely that a large-scale landslide of debris flow will occur in the future.
