Shennong Creek is a regular flowing stream on the north bank of the Yangtze River in Badong County, Hubei Province. It has the beautiful landscape of Guilin and the cliffs and rocks of Tuer Ridge. It originates from the south of Shennongjia, the first peak in central China. The slope runs through deep mountains and canyons from south to north, with a total length of 60 kilometers. The deep pools and clear water in the gorge, waterfalls everywhere, primitive flat boats, Tujia customs, stalagmite caves, experience the culture of trackers, and explore the magical hanging coffins are all amazing.

In the narrow Mianzhu Gorge, there are various dangerous peaks and cliffs, with caves all over the cliffs and stalactites hanging upside down in the air. There is a narrow skyline, and there are strange peaks and rocks such as "python coming out of the mountain". Walking upstream from the lower reaches, you feel more and more that the air is exceptionally fresh and the gorge is particularly quiet. The most attractive tourist project is Shennong River rafting. The Wandoujiao boat that tourists take is almost an unmodified relic of the Ba people. It is said that the ancestors of the Ba people migrated westward in such a Wandoujiao boat and established the country of Pakistan. A purely natural way of sightseeing by trackers, the Shennong River trackers are just like the scenery of Shennong Creek, majestic and upright, poetic and picturesque, and their souls are more like the water of Shennong Creek, clear, bright, pure and flawless.

As the first rafting experience in China, the trackers first row against the current and pull the boat full of people to the top of the current, and then automatically drift. It is very exciting, the current is very strong, and the clothes of people on both sides are soaked. There was a tour guide explaining while floating, but if you were sitting at the very back of the boat, you couldn't hear anything clearly. In addition to the sound of turbulent water, you could hear the constant screams of people. Of course both the trackers and the boatmen were wearing clothes.

Due to the Three Gorges Dam, the water level has risen by about 1,780 meters. The entire Badong County was completely submerged. The current Badong County was newly built. Of course, the scenery of Shennong River was also affected to a certain extent. There are only a few famous hanging coffins. Before the Three Gorges Reservoir was impounded, Shennong Creek was an authentic cultural holy land for trackers, where pulling fiber and singing Tujia songs was refreshing. After the reservoir was filled with water, the stream became a wide river, the rapids became a "flat mirror", the mountains became shorter, and the people changed. Tracking is purely a "performance", and singing and dancing are a fixed "mode".

Shennong Creek is a river that originates from Shennongjia. Before the Three Gorges Dam on the Yangtze River was closed, it could only be entered by small wooden boats. Now it can be visited by large boats. It can be used as an option for in-depth tour of the Three Gorges. With the miraculous mountains and crystal clear river water, we learned more about the Shennong River tracker culture. Traveling alone is not actually lonely. You will meet many different people and listen to different stories outside. The scenery on both sides of the Taiwan Strait is particularly beautiful, and it is really a pleasure to chat with everyone!
