Guizhou's tourism resources are so good, why are there not many tourists compared with other provinces?

When I was a child in geography class, the geography teacher often mentioned Guizhou. It feels like a good place with diverse landforms and a long history.

But here's the problem. Speaking of domestic tourism, it seems that few people go to Guizhou. Why?

The most famous scenic spot in Guizhou is probably Huangguoshu Waterfall. As the largest waterfall in China, Huangguoshu Waterfall is a national famous 5a scenic spot. Its water level drop105m is magnificent.

Besides waterfalls, there are other scenic spots in Guizhou. For example, the Dragon Palace Scenic Area, which is famous for its water caves, the ancient town of Qingyan with a long history, and the picturesque Baili Rhododendron Scenic Area.

Although there are many scenic spots in Guizhou, they are scattered. Except Huangguoshu Waterfall, which is famous at home and abroad, other scenic spots are familiar to locals.

Therefore, in order to revitalize Guizhou's tourism industry, the local government should intensify its propaganda, make a fuss about tourism traffic and promote the development of major scenic spots and the whole tourism industry.
