The development of history

Lintan County is located in the Tang Dynasty. According to legend, the county ruins are close to the water pool, hence the name. Zhoutaotang was built in Qing Dynasty and moved to Lintan County in 19 13. According to the Records of Yuanhe County, it is named because the county is surrounded by Taoshui on the east, west and north sides, which looks like Lintan.

Lintan, known as Zhou Tao in ancient times, is located at the northeast edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and belongs to the transitional zone where the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau meets the Loess Plateau. It is located in the south of Gansu Province and the east of Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. It is the junction of agricultural and pastoral areas, Tibetan areas and Han areas. Its geographical coordinates are10310' ~10352' and 34 30' north latitude. Le Kang and Weiyuan counties in the north, Minxian and Zhuoni in the east, and Zhuoni flower arrangement in the southwest. The total land area of the county is 1557.68 square kilometers, with the maximum distance of 60 kilometers from east to west and 83 kilometers from north to south. The territory belongs to high mountain and hilly areas, with high terrain in the west and low terrain in the east, with an altitude of 2209-3926 meters and an average altitude of 2825 meters.

Yeliguan in Guofeng District is connected with expressway in Lin Lan by provincial highway 3 1 1, only160km away from Lanzhou.
