Sunac·Aduohuayu Island: Poetic Wine Tea Field, Dreaming of Hidden Horses - Shunjing Garden

Aduohuayu is located in the Zangma Mountains. It is an internet celebrity micro-vacation tourism destination created by Sunac·Aduo Town with the theme of "Poetry, Wine, Tea Fields, Dreaming of Living in Zangma". The Huayu Visitor Center and the first bidding section of the Huayu Observation Area, which are currently open to the public, are implemented by Shunjing Garden.

The Aduohuayu project relies on the natural texture of Zangmashan Forest Park and the background of the prosperous Tang Dynasty culture to create a quiet, simple and elegant classical garden. The mountainous terrain is used to gather different business types, with bars, teahouses and restaurants scattered among them to create the interest of the mountainous space. Strolling on Aduohua Island is like dreaming back to the prosperous Tang Dynasty.

The visitor center is the first impression point for tourists entering the town. It has the functions of tourist service, stop and leisure, and image display. Based on the spirit of the site, it integrates the natural features of Zangma Mountain to create a landscape venue with outstanding overall atmosphere and shocking enough.

The semi-arc streamlined visitor center building is cleverly integrated with the open lake view. It is surrounded by lush trees and clear water, forming a semi-enclosed space full of art.

Multiple landscapes are created around the building, and the viewing angles are constantly changing. Utilizing the current undulating terrain, we create cascading waterfalls, ecological green islands, metasequoia forests, and sponge water systems, echoing the original natural landscape and continuing the pure, wild beauty of the site and surrounding areas.

In the Huayu viewing area, there are arch bridges, mirror lakes, stone alleys, secluded paths, strange stone bonsais, and the poetic and artistic meaning is vividly displayed among the green mountains and green waters.

It covers various types of landscapes, including public roads, commercial blocks, leisure trails, B&B courtyards, outdoor plants, etc. Combined with the landscape theme, special stones such as rubble, bluestone, and tuff are widely used, as well as various plants that grow in the appropriate location. These serve as physical samples and provide standard process templates for subsequent construction.

Relying on the natural mountain features of Zangma Mountain, Huayu has created a large water area. The waters are gentle and open, with gentle waves. Mountains and rivers depend on each other, and the scenery is harmonious. Planting aquatic plants such as zailihua, water iris, water onion, lotus, etc. not only maintains plant ecological diversity, but also plays a role in purifying water quality.

The entire water surface uses a soft waterproof bottom to collect rainwater and reduce water maintenance in the park. Bluestone from Qufu, Shandong was selected as an embellishment of the waterscape and to frame the movement of the water.

"You should pity the green moss on the teeth of clogs, and the small buckle firewood door will not open for a long time." Characteristic B&Bs with wooden doors and bamboo fences can be seen everywhere here. Pushing open a door gently, the scenery inside is even more amazing.

Aduohuayu Landscape perfectly integrates traditional and modern aesthetics. Behind the stunning landscape is the persistence of professionalism and craftsmanship by all teams involved in the project.

This project uses a large number of different forms of hardscape, which is different from ordinary traditional craftsmanship. The craftsmanship is more sophisticated and the quality standards are higher.

The old stone slabs and stone walls have accumulated the time of Huayu. In order to enhance the simplicity of the site, we specially selected slate, tuff and concrete to imitate old stone slabs as the main floor paving materials. The raw materials of the old slate come from a small town in the south of the Yangtze River. The project team personally paid the place of origin to select the materials, and then went to the factory for cutting and processing. In different ways, natural textures are presented, delicate and neat. In addition, the retaining walls in the park are built with a large number of rough stones, strips of stone and other stones to present a natural and original style. Innovations and details are also made in the building methods.

The soft landscape space of Huayu is very exquisite. Before all seedlings are planted, we use models to consider the reasonable relationship between the seedling planting points and space, and select the seedlings with the best shape to match the space style.

We used a large number of native tree species, such as maple poplar, black locust, camellia, black pine, ash, cedar, etc., and performed professional-level pruning on the black pine. Combined with the local climate conditions in Qingdao, many Jiangsu and Zhejiang plant species have been introduced into the area, such as Chinese tallow tree, hackberry, osmanthus, alpine rhododendron, spring rhododendron, Xia Juan, heather, etc., creating a diverse plant environment.

The warm sunshine enters the room, showing the ancient charm and elegant bamboo and wood works that sparkle in the light and shadow. Walking through the town, you will encounter exquisite stone carvings and cute stone statues, which are very pleasing to the eye. These are all carefully crafted by craftsmen.

In Aduohuayu, there is poetry and distance.

At the beginning of the lanterns, I dreamed of returning to the Tang Dynasty.

Chang'an never sleeps, and Huayu never sleeps.
