Self-driving: Xi 'an enters Lianhuogao (G3)-Meixian Interchange turns to Meitai Highway-Taibai County turns to Taiyang Highway-Huangbaiyuan (the whole journey is about 26 km).

Trains: There are many trains from Xi 'an to Baoji-Baoji East Bus Station transfers to Taibai-Taibai then transfers to Huangbaiyuan by shuttle bus (train or ordinary passenger is optional)

Huangbaiyuan is about 7 kilometers away from Taibai County, and it takes about three hours by car. All of them are mountain roads, but the road conditions are very good. The scenery is nice and cool. It feels good to drive in the mountains, but the most beautiful things are on the road.

It is divided into two scenic spots: Dajiangou and Hetaoping. Dajiangou doesn't accept tickets now. There are some black cars of local villagers at the gate to pull people up the mountain. Of course, they can also walk up, just a few kilometers. Walnut Ping can cross over to the old county town. If it is slower, it will take about 5 or 6 hours to go back and forth. Because it's far away, you can choose to stay here for one night. In fact, many people travel in Huangbaiyuan for two days on weekends. There are many farmhouses around to stay, and the facilities are relatively simple, but they are all clean.

Apart from summer vacation, you can only see its essence and most beautiful part in autumn. The best tourist season in Huangbaiyuan is the middle of October every year. At this time, the leaves are red and yellow, and it is wonderful to dress up here as an oil painting. It is a good choice to come here to admire autumn scenery in autumn.

It is indeed a worthwhile trip, and Xiaoqiuzhai in Qinling really deserves its reputation. Moreover, Huangbaiyuan is located on the highway from Taibai County to Yangxian County. If you continue to move forward, you can visit Huayang Ancient Town and other scenic spots, and finally you can reach Yangxian County in Hanzhong.
