Thailand's Similan Islands are surrounded by several small islands.

Similan Archipelago is located in the Andaman Sea, 9km northwest of Phuket, Thailand. It is an area composed of nine islands, with an area of about 8, Thai acres. "Similan" means "nine" in Malay. As the name implies, Similan Islands means nine islands. These nine islands are arranged in three groups, namely: Koh Huyong, Koh Payan, Koh Payan, and Koh Miang. Koh Pahyu, Koh Pabu, Koh Similan (with lighthouse) and Koh Bangu. And there are management offices on the fourth island and the eighth island respectively, which are responsible for supervising the activities of the islands.
