Self-driving route: There are many routes to visit Miyun Reservoir, including Sanyuan Bridge-Jingmi Road-Great Wall Roundabout-Gubeikou; Sanyuan Bridge-Jingmi Road-Great Wall Roundabout-Taishitun Reservoir Observation Deck; Sanyuan Bridge-Jingmi Road-Great Wall Roundabout-Simatai Great Wall; Sanyuan Bridge-Jingmi Road-Miyun County-Mixi Road-Lishugou Village to build five forest parks.

Accommodation: Qiaomaiyu Village around Xiwengzhuang, Shimayu Folk Village, Baicaowa Village and Jianyan Village in Xiwengzhuang, etc. Both provide accommodation, and the cost of one night's accommodation is around 50 yuan. There are also many small hotels near the reservoir, most of which are near expressway around the reservoir. Accommodation conditions are slightly better than those in folk villages, and the price is slightly more expensive, about RMB 100 per night.
