Urgently seeking guide for visiting the World Expo

Three-day guide to the Shanghai World Expo - simplified version

PS: The author of this most awesome guide - 23-year-old Ni Wenhao was once a "gold medal commentator" at the World Expo Exhibition Center ”, is currently a staff member of the Future Pavilion of the World Expo Urban Best Practice Area. The following is the best guide for a 3-day tour of the Expo (condensed version):

Go to the Yaohua Road entrance and queue up at 8:30. After preparing to enter the venue at 9:00, go to the reservation machine at the entrance to reserve a time to visit the China Pavilion.

Individual visits are made on-site. If you follow a travel agency, you will save the trouble of making an appointment. There are 200 reservation machines at each entrance and exit of the park. Just bring your valid ID and tickets.

Enter the park and walk to the end of the Expo axis to the Celebration Square, where there is a grand opening ceremony. After reading it, we went to the Expo Center, where the opening ceremony of the National Pavilion Day is held every day.

After seeing the Expo Center, you can go to the Theme Pavilion, where there are the Urban People Pavilion, Life Pavilion, Earth Pavilion, and Public Participation Pavilion. Although these venues are all in the same building, they have to line up separately. In principle, there are two visiting routes for each venue in the park. The fast lane is reserved for tourists who want to see the scenery. It is recommended that you take the slow lane in the main venues and self-built museums in various countries.

After visiting the theme museum, it should be time for lunch. There is a Chinese food street between the Expo Center and the theme pavilion. After dinner, usually around 13:30, go to the China Pavilion to queue up. The queue at the China Pavilion can take as little as 45 minutes and as long as more than 2 hours.

After you enter the venue, take the elevator. The first thing you arrive at is the 49-meter floor. After watching 49 meters, you can go to the 41 meters floor. You can visit there by rail tour bus. There is a long queue and everyone has to go and sit there. The feeling is different! The last one is the 33-meter floor, which introduces China's low-carbon cities in the future and lets you see what kind of environment you will live in in the future.

After visiting the China National Pavilion, it is recommended that you go to the nearby provincial and municipal pavilions. Each province, autonomous region and city has 600 square meters of space, each with its own characteristics.

After visiting the China Pavilion and returning to the door, be sure not to go out. After taking a rest, we walked eastward to the Oman Pavilion, Pakistan Pavilion, and Israel Pavilion, and also took a look at the Sri Lanka Pavilion. There are thousands of Buddha relics in the Nepal Pavilion. The Indian Pavilion is right next to the Nepal Pavilion. The next thing I saw was the Saudi Pavilion, which has the largest investment among foreign pavilions, spending 1.3 billion yuan! The Morocco pavilion is a glass box, and the UAE pavilion is also worth a visit.

The Kazakhstan Pavilion is also a self-built pavilion. Although it is not big, I insist on seeing all the self-built pavilions.

Across the road there are two venues worth seeing - the Japanese Pavilion and the Korean Pavilion. Walk along the Expo Avenue towards the Performing Arts Center and walk to the Celebration Square to watch the closing ceremony! That’s it for the first day!

It is recommended to arrive at the park at 8:30, and it is recommended to enter the park from the Changqing Road gate. The first thing you need to do when entering the park is to make an appointment. It is recommended that you make an appointment for the American, British, French, and Swiss pavilions. The appointment time can be in the afternoon or evening.

The Thailand Pavilion is on the right hand side when entering the park from the Changqing Road entrance. The big building in front of the Thailand Pavilion is the Australia Pavilion. To the right of Australia is the Singapore Pavilion. Next to the Singapore Pavilion is the Malaysia Pavilion, which has a stage where you can watch performances. After watching it, we went to the New Zealand Pavilion. The special effects of the venue were done by the special effects team of "Lord of the Rings". When you leave the New Zealand Pavilion, look for a building with a lot of bamboos coming out of the roof. That is the Indonesia Pavilion. After visiting the Indonesian Pavilion, you can go to the International Organizations Joint Pavilion, Brunei Pavilion, and Philippines Pavilion, and then you can take a rest and eat something in the leisure square.

Please take the elevated walkway toward the Huangpu River and go down when you see the blue UN Pavilion. It is the United Nations Joint Pavilion and must be seen. The World Meteorological Organization Pavilion next to it is the most exciting. It is the only self-built pavilion of an international organization. Going further, the Red Cross Pavilion is also worth a visit.

After visiting here, please eat and drink enough.

Crossing the road (Changqing Road) next to the United Nations Pavilion, you see a rattan basket. That is the Spanish Pavilion. You must see it.

But on the other side of the leisure square is the Belgium-EU Pavilion, where you can eat free chocolates, and you can also participate in quizzes about European knowledge. Diamonds will be drawn for you every week, and grand prizes will be drawn for you every month. European travel.

Next to Belgium is Poland, which looks like a paper-cut box with a cafe on it. Next to the Polish Pavilion, there is a cable car on the side of the Huangpu River, which is the Swiss Pavilion. Next to the Swiss Pavilion is the French Pavilion, which contains many art treasures, including Rodin's "The Bronze Age" and so on. Next to the French Pavilion and next to the Polish Pavilion is the German Pavilion. There is a ball inside that will swing if you shout louder.

After visiting the German Pavilion, go through the Northern Ring Road to the Irish Pavilion, then the Norwegian Pavilion, next to Ukraine and Iceland. Next is the Swedish Pavilion, and when you come down you see the Danish Pavilion. Next to the Denmark Pavilion is the Finland Pavilion. After visiting the Finland Pavilion, cross the elevated walkway and go to the Portuguese Pavilion, Slovakia Pavilion, and Czech Pavilion opposite.

Then there is the Hungary Pavilion, across Xiying Road, is the Caribbean United Pavilion, and opposite is the Cuba Pavilion. The Cuba Pavilion used to be the Venezuela Pavilion, and after a figure-eight circle, there is the Chile Pavilion. There is a well inside. Take a photo, because Chile is on the other side of the world. Next to Chile is Mexico. After passing the Mexico Pavilion, we went to the Canada Pavilion. There is Cirque du Soleil in the Canadian Pavilion, which is very exciting.

The Canada Pavilion used to be the Peruvian Pavilion, and it had delicious food! Then there are the Colombian Pavilion and the Brazilian Pavilion. After leaving the Brazil Pavilion, we first went to the Central and South American Joint Pavilion. The thick plate workshop of the former Shanghai No. 3 Steel Plant was renovated and it is very charming. Then you can visit the American Pavilion, which has a waterfall and a big screen at the entrance.

At this time, it’s time to have dinner. The American Pavilion has a restaurant and many surrounding supporting services.

After viewing the US Pavilion, there are a series of rental pavilions: Argentina, Slovenia, South Africa, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Angola, Nigeria, Libya, Lithuania, and Croatia. After reading this, go to the Russian Pavilion, a fairy tale world with 12 petal towers. Then I saw a cut green apple and went inside to watch a movie. It was the Romanian pavilion. After visiting the Romania Pavilion, we visited the Austria Pavilion, then the Netherlands Pavilion, and then the Luxembourg Pavilion. Italy is a very good venue, and the building material is transparent concrete! Next to it is the dazzling British Pavilion. Although it is small, it is really beautiful, with tens of thousands of luminous tentacles swinging in the wind.

Finally, end the trip by going to the African Union Pavilion, where there is an African market and you can buy some souvenirs.

Arrived at the entrance of the park at 8:30. Take Metro Line 8 and get off at Xizang South Road Station, which is the largest entrance to the Puxi Expo Park.

When you enter, you first see the China Shipbuilding Museum, which was renovated from an old factory. Inside, you can see the history of China's shipbuilding. After coming out, walk towards Nanpu Bridge and first go to the China Private Enterprise Pavilion. Then there is the Vanke Pavilion, where you can go and see what Chinese cities will look like in 2049.

After that, the exhibition halls in Osaka and Taipei were good, and the cases in Sao Paulo, Brazil are worth seeing. After seeing the overpass, go up. Near Zhongshan South Road is the most exciting northern construction case area of ??the Urban Best Practice Area.

There are Shanghai’s “Shanghai Ecologists” who tell everyone about the innovation of modern living environment. There is the Jin Yong Library on the way up, and if you are lucky, you may come across Jin Yong’s book signing. In addition, Daming Palace in Xi’an and Tengtou Village in Ningbo are also good. From abroad, I recommend everyone to visit the Zero Carbon Pavilion in London, the Burger House in Hamburg, the Tent City in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, and the Bamboo House in Madrid.

After reading this, everyone went over the overpass to the World City Plaza in the southern block. The cost of the large awning there was 2 million! Under the chimney of the square is the Future Pavilion. The restaurant on the side of the Future Pavilion near the overpass is the largest in Puxi. I recommend eating there.

You are lucky enough to see me at the Future Museum.

After visiting the Future Pavilion in the afternoon, please go back to the Enterprise Pavilion. This time the tour route is China Aviation, Information and Communications, and SAIC General.

Afterwards, you can watch performances at the Expo Square and play next to the old dock of the original Jiangnan Shipyard. Then go to Aurora Pavilion.

Next to the Civilization Hall is the Japan Industrial Federation Hall. After that, you can leave the park through the Luban Road exit, which is right at the Lupu Bridge. During the day, you can pay 68 yuan to climb to the top and overlook the entire park.
