Travel notes of Xitang (non-travel guide)

Many years ago, I saw a group of photos in a travel book, including green flowing water, swaying awning boats, mottled white walls, lanterns hanging high, and pedestrians in twos and threes. Water in the Spring and Autumn Period, towns in the Tang and Song Dynasties, buildings in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and modern people are completely integrated in the picture, which is a static flow and cannot help but make people yearn for it. I finally have the opportunity to go to this long-awaited water town.

In the morning, the mist is like gauze, the white walls on both sides of the river are towering, and the curved bridges are reflected in the water. The aborigines living by the river began their lives in this mist. Walking in the corridor shed built along the street, watching the shops open in the morning light, the number of pedestrians gradually increased, and the awning boat in the river swayed into sight. As a result, a constantly changing painting of water town customs is presented, that is, "people are in the water, bridges are built on the water, pedestrians walk on the bridge, boats walk under the bridge, shops stand at the bridge head, and there are reflections in the water".

Touching the ancient beauty Le 'an, it is said that the beauty Le 'an was built by Fu Cha, the king of Wu, because of a heart attack, to let the peerless beauty rest in peace. Now that the Iraqis are gone, only this legend lives in this quiet place. Standing on the stone arch bridge, you can overlook the original ecological features of Xitang. This lively thousand-year-old town, with simple folk customs and melodious voice, is permeated with the unique humanistic accumulation of China ancient traditional culture. It is undoubtedly a holy place for artists to describe the water towns in the south of the Yangtze River, a base for experts to study folk culture, and a place for tourists to escape the noise and release their pressure. In the ancient town of xitang, there are dozens of bridges such as Wolong Ling Bo and Rainbow Flying Frame. Every bridge has a touching legend, which makes me curious. How many stories of Shiqiao Zen have been staged in these Millennium stone bridges? I would like to become a stone bridge, exposed to the wind for 500 years, exposed to the sun for 500 years, and exposed to the rain for 500 years, just asking Iraqis to cross the bridge. Between the beginning and the end, a thousand years have passed, and the people of Sri Lanka have passed away, but the stone bridge with a seat has been weathered by the wind, the sun and the rain.

Walking in Xitang, full of twists and turns, you can always find her hidden unexpected beauty. Deep in the house, the winding path leads to a secluded place, I don't know how deep it is. At the end, it suddenly becomes clear, and there is a hole in the sky. The streets and lanes connecting the new street in front and the old city behind maintain two different eras. Passing through it is like passing through the tunnel of history. "The alley under the house is the lane, and the avenue in the temple is the Tang Dynasty", the most famous Shipi Lane in Xitang, is an excellent shooting place. The pavement paved with bluestone slabs and narrow walls on both sides cover a narrow sky, which is the legendary Xitang skyline. Time has mottled the white wall, but we can't ignore the mellow precipitation of time.

In the evening, the setting sun shines obliquely, the fishing boat sings late, the lights are brilliant, and the plums are fragrant. The whole ancient water town is picturesque, and people are in it. Suddenly, Taoyuan Qiongyao, I don't know whether people are traveling in a world of pictorial or painting in my heart. It is near dusk in the tall building, and there is rustling rain on the leaves of the plane.

Find a teahouse by the river and talk with friends about past lives with fragrant teas. Then I tasted the special dishes and simple peasant flavor of Xitang, reminisced in the ancient night and recalled the days when I laughed heartily. Or, sitting on the swaying Wu Peng boat, chanting "the glass on the windless water is slippery, and I don't feel the boat rippling"; Looking at people on both sides of the strait, watching thousands of lights, thinking about the feelings of thousands of families, listening to the pulse of Xitang for thousands of years, a leisurely life is like a fairy, carefree and not thinking about the world.
