Qingdao Haier Industrial Park, located at the junction of Haier Road and National Highway 38, is the location of the world-renowned Haier Group and a famous industrial tourist attraction launched by Qingdao. Haier Group, formerly known as Qingdao Refrigerator General Factory, was established in 1984. Under the leadership of Zhang Ruimin, a famous entrepreneur, a small factory with a loss of 1.57 million yuan was built into an asset of 7 million yuan with an annual output value of more than 1 billion yuan after 18 years of hard work. It has 42 categories of refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, freezers and more than 8, kinds of products, 74 marketing centers at home and abroad, and marketing in 32 countries and regions.
