Where is Lin Biao’s ancient residence?

The experience of working in Wuhan gave me the convenience of visiting Lin Biao’s hometown-Linjiadawan.

In that Wanzi, where three famous people came from one family in the history of the Chinese revolution, but are now very inconspicuous, it makes people feel a lot.

On a steamy morning, I drove west from Wuhan to the Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway at eight o'clock, then crossed the Junshan Bridge, then onto the Wuhuang Expressway, and crossed the E-Huang Bridge. It took about an hour and a half to drive there.

Linjiada Bay is located in Huilong Town, Tuanfeng County, more than 20 kilometers away from Huanggang City, Hubei Province. Local people have passed down from generation to generation that Huilong Mountain was originally called Zaoer Ciling, and nine little dragons who violated the rules of heaven were imprisoned by the Dragon King of the East China Sea. Under the boulders of this ridge.

The Dragon King said: Only when the iron trees on the mountains bloom can Kowloon return to the East China Sea.

Finally the iron trees bloomed on the ridge, and Kowloon returned to the East China Sea.

But one of the little dragons missed the majesty of Zaoerci Ridge and resolutely returned to settle there. Since then, Zaocier Ridge has been called Huilong Mountain.

There are often auspicious clouds and mist surrounding Huilong Mountain, which is full of fairy spirit.

About six or seven miles away from Huilong Town, a mountain ridge looks like a goat.

The mountain is about 300 meters above sea level. The mountain is not dangerous or steep but it is extraordinary. It is full of vegetation, bamboo trees and flowers.

According to legend, this mountain was transformed into a snow-white divine sheep and was named Baiyang Mountain.

At the southern foot of Baiyang Mountain, the mountains are surrounded on three sides by two small mountain villages with only a field in between.

This is Linjia Bay and Ranpu Bay.

There is a stone tablet not far from the entrance of Wanzi, which reads "Linjiadawan, the hometown of famous people in Baiyangshan".

This is not only the hometown of the three Lin brothers, but also the hometown of geologist Li Siguang, educator Wang Yanan, and writer Qin Zhaoyang. The small Huilong Town is indeed the hometown of celebrities!

At the entrance of the village, there is an archway with "Linjia Dawan" written on it. There is a fee office next to it, and each visitor costs RMB 20.

Linjiadawan is a small natural village at the foot of Huilong Mountain. I heard that it was very poor in the past. Even today, when the countryside has changed a lot over the years of reform and opening up, there is still no sign of prosperity.

Several commemorative former residences of the Lin family: "Shuaimen", "Lin Biao's Former Residence", "Lin Yunan's Former Residence", "Lin Yuying's Former Residence", etc. were all raised voluntarily by their descendants. The fees at the entrance of the village and The daily management of the former residence is an internal matter within the family.

It is said that the local government neither supported nor obstructed the Lin family's "opening up" to the outside world, and did not invest a penny in the construction of the former residence.

The name "Shuaimen" may be a metaphor for Deputy Commander Lin, but it is actually the former residence of Lin Biao's parents.

The living room is very spacious, with a patio in the center of the room and good indoor light.

Many photos of the Lin family tree and family members are displayed on the wall, including those of Lin Biao’s ex-wife Zhang Mei and their daughter Lin Xiaoling, Lin Liheng and his wife, and Lin Liheng’s return to Lin’s family in Dawan in 1987 Photos etc.

In the side room of the old residence, there are mainly pictures and photos of Lin Biao’s life and some evaluation articles by some veterans, showing Lin Biao’s heroic appearance on the battlefield during the war years, which naturally reminds people of his extraordinary career. Military commanding ability and impressive achievements - the Pingxingguan interception and annihilation battle during the Anti-Japanese War, the Pingjin and Liaoshen battles during the Liberation War...

The long river of history has its own merits and demerits, and Lin Biao's tragic life of ups and downs has left deep inspiration and long thoughts for our descendants.

Coming out of the former residence and looking at the front and back of the house, it really feels like a Feng Shui treasure land.

In front of the bay, there is a pond with rippling blue water, and behind the bay, backed by green mountains, there are lush pines and cypresses.

Looking at the mountains, the terrain, and the scenery, they are very similar to Shaoshan Chong, the former residence of *** we visited.

People can’t help but think, can such mountains and rivers nurture great men?

It is said that during the Cultural Revolution, this place was as lively as Shaoshan.

According to later generations and relevant literature, from 1968 to 1969 alone, 1.08 million people came to Linjia Dawan to "visit the former residence of Deputy Commander Lin". The endless stream of people visited Qingshui Pond. All the water was drunk.

It is also said that when the Northeastern descendants of the "Si Ye" came to Lin Biao's former residence, they often knelt down in front of the portrait of the "Northeast King".

Looking at the sporadic tourists and the depression in front of us, and thinking about the glory of Linjia Bay, we can’t help but sigh: Thirty years to the east of the river, twenty years to the west of the river, things are unpredictable!

In fact, whether it is used as a revolutionary history education base or as a celebrity tourism resource, Linjia Dawan should not be idle or ignored like this.

Because the Lin family not only produced Lin Biao, but also had two martyrs, Lin Yunan and Lin Yuying. Their contributions to the cause of the Chinese revolution were fully recognized by the Party Central Committee.

Especially Lin Yuying (Zhang Hao) is a person who has enjoyed the high-level courtesy of a great leader *** who carried the coffin for the only time in his life. This is unique in the history of our party .

There is also a legend that during the Anti-Japanese War, the Northern Shaanxi Red Army was reorganized into the Eighth Route Army of the National Revolutionary Army, which had three divisions: 115, 120, and 129. Three brothers, Lin Biao and Lin Yuying, served as commanders of the 115th Division respectively. and the political commissar of the 120th Division. Lin Yunan had already died at that time.

In this beautiful mountain village with a beautiful legend, the three outstanding Lin brothers of the Chinese revolution, Lin Yunan and Lin Yuying (Zhang Hao), came out. The three brothers were cousins, but they did not have the fifth father. A person like Lin Biao is naturally inseparable from the legend.

People from Dawan of the Lin family say: The ancestors of the Lin family are buried at Fenghuangkou, and they want to make a fortune.

The ancestral home of the Lin family is located in Guanshan, and it has been in officialdom for generations.

The Lin family's new house is located in Shenxian'an, Shenxian'an is connected to Baiyang Mountain. There is a white tiger star on Baiyang Mountain. The white tiger drives the white sheep, and the tiger comes down the mountain ridge, and Lin Biao appears. ”
