According to the second article of the "Notice on Adjusting Several Provisions on Automobile Scrapping Standards", tourist passenger cars and non-commercial passenger cars with more than 9 seats are used for 10 years, and the third article stipulates that the above-mentioned vehicles have reached the age of scrapping. If it is necessary to continue to use it after the expiration date, it must be strictly inspected in accordance with the relevant national regulations on motor vehicle safety and pollutant emission. However, tourist passenger cars and non-commercial passenger cars with more than 9 seats can be extended to a maximum of 10 years. Article 5 The service life of various types of motor vehicles are as follows:

(7) Large and medium-sized non-commercial passenger vehicles (except large cars) are used for 20 years;
(8) Three-wheeled vehicles and low-speed trucks equipped with single-cylinder engines are used for 9 years, low-speed trucks and micro trucks equipped with multi-cylinder engines are used for 12 years, and dangerous goods transport trucks are used for 10 years. , other truck-loading vehicles (including semi-trailer tractors and full-trailer tractors) are used for 15 years;
(9) Special operation vehicles with cargo-carrying functions are used for 15 years, and special operation vehicles without cargo-carrying functions are used for 15 years Vehicles are used for 30 years;
(10) Full trailers and dangerous goods transport semi-trailers are used for 10 years, container semi-trailers are used for 20 years, and other semi-trailers are used for 15 years;

For small and micro taxi passenger vehicles (except pure electric vehicles) and motorcycles, the relevant departments of the people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government. Stricter service life regulations than the above may be formulated based on local actual conditions, but the service life of small and micro taxis shall not be less than 6 years, the three-wheel motorcycles shall not be less than 10 years, and the other motorcycles shall not be less than 11 years. p>

The starting date of the service life of a motor vehicle is calculated based on the registration date, but If the registration formalities have not been completed for more than 2 years from the date of shipment, the calculation will be based on the date of shipment.
