Take a train to visit Qinling Mountain! From Ganyou River to Xunhe River to Hanjiang River, 58 yuan enjoys the beautiful scenery across the north and south.

I have been traveling from the media intermittently for a year or two, and I feel that I have just started to really approach Shaanxi, so I can explore some interesting and personalized travel routes to share with you.

I used to go out in go on road trip, but recently I've been fascinated by trains, especially those going deep into the Qinling Mountains. I don't know if I don't take a seat, but I just found out that it's much more fun. Some time ago, I took the Baocheng Line by train and went to Fengxian in Baoji and Lueyang in Hanzhong. These days, I went along Xikang Railway, crossed Zhashui and Zhen 'an in Shangluo from Xi 'an, and arrived at Xiaohe Station, a small railway station in Qinling Mountains. From here, I took a bus along Xunyang-xiaohe town Road to Xunyang County, and then took a ride from the county bus station to Shuhe ancient town on the Han River along National Highway 316.

From Xi 'an to Shuhe Ancient Town, the end of this trip, I stopped and looked. I spent a day on the road. Actually, it's a direct train ride from Xi 'an to Xunyang County. There are many trains, ranging from a little more than 2 hours fast to 3 hours slow. The reason why I didn't sit directly in Xunyang is because I found a small station in front of it when I inquired about the train route-Xiaohe Town Station.

xiaohe town is a town in the north of Xunyang, which lives deep in the Qinling Mountains. It is a magical place, where several traffic arteries meet-Baomao Expressway, Xikang Railway and National Highway 211. In ancient times, it was the only place to connect Chang 'an and Jinzhou (Ankang). Nowadays, it is still the business center of several towns in Fiona Fang because of convenient transportation.

xiaohe town is well worth a visit. Ganyou River, a tributary of Xunhe River flowing from Zhashui, has become a large-scale river here, eroding and cutting distinctive canyons.

The town is very rich, because it is rich in mineral resources, such as gold mine, lead-zinc mine and cinnabar mine, and it also produces excellent bloodstone and flue-cured tobacco. Perhaps for this reason, the consumption in the town is quite high. A bowl of pickled noodles near xiaohe town Railway Station requires 13 yuan, while 8 yuan is needed near Ankang Railway Station.

from Xi' an to Xiaohe by train, the ticket is 28.5 yuan/person. You can take K8186 which leaves at 1:36, the journey takes 2 hours and 34 minutes, and the arrival time is 1:1 pm. As soon as you leave the station, you can see many vans and motorcycles carrying passengers. The railway station is still 1 km away from the town.

from xiaohe town, you can reach Xunyang county more than 5 kilometers south, and the road you pass is Xunyang path, that is, National Highway 211. On the way, you will pass Liangheguan, where Ganyou River joins Xunyang River. Ganyou River is a tributary of Xunhe River, and Xunhe River is a tributary of Han River. After about an hour's drive, you can reach Xunyang County, where Xunhe River joins the Han River.

This road is mainly along the Xunhe Valley, with almost no height difference, and it has been very gentle. The road is very close to the water surface. From a distance, the road is almost close to the water surface, with green and towering peaks on both sides. Unfortunately, when I went, it was the rainy season. After the ten-day river was incorporated into the Ganyou River, it became turbid, and there were many rockfalls and landslides along the road. If the weather is fine, the scenery along the road must be very beautiful.

From Xiaohe to Xunyang County, you can take the shuttle bus from the county to the town, or you can take a privately operated van, and the fare is 15 yuan -2 yuan/person.

Xunyang County is well worth staying in. Here, you can climb the observation deck to overlook the natural "Taiji City" created when the Xunyang River joins the Han River, or you can visit the old town of Xunyang, where there are many intact ancient buildings such as ancient streets, ancient gates, ancient houses and Confucian temples. Because I had seen a lot before when I came to Xunyang, I didn't stay any longer, so I took a ride directly from Xunyang County Transportation Department to Shuhe Ancient Town.

Shuhe Ancient Town is located in the lower reaches of the Han River, 5 kilometers away from Xunyang County, between Xunyang County and Baihe County. It is also a place where the two rivers meet-the Shuhe River joins the Han River here, hence the name of Shuhe Ancient Town built at the mouth of the Shuhe River. Once upon a time, when the navigation of the Han River was smooth, Shuhe was a famous land and water wharf along the Han River and formed a prosperous commercial town. It has a history of more than 1, years, and now the buildings basically continue from the Qing Dynasty.

Actually, I've been to Shuhe ancient town, but I can't get tired of seeing it, not only because the ancient town is worthy of its name and has its original ecological appearance, but also because the 5-kilometer road along the river from the county town to the ancient town is extremely tortuous and spectacular. On both sides of Jiajiang River, besides National Highway 316, Shugou Road and Xiangyu Railway pass by. In particular, the strange risks of Shugou Road (Shuhe Town-Gouyuan Town) may be unique in Shaanxi.

not only that, there are many ferries crossing the river along the road. I experienced a ferry at Shuhe Ferry near Shuhe Ancient Town. There was a bridge across the Han River near Shuhe Ancient Town, called Shuhe Bridge, which is the only way for National Highway 316. Recently, the dangerous bridge under closed construction is being rebuilt, so cars on both sides of the strait have to "take a boat" to cross the river. This is also the first time I have seen cars crossing the river by boat in Shaanxi. Cars crossing the river charge 2 yuan/car, while people going by boat are free.

It takes about 1 hour to drive from Xunyang County to Shuhe Ancient Town, and the fare is also 15 yuan. Economically speaking, from Xi 'an to Shuhe Ancient Town, my single trip cost only 58.5 yuan, and I completed more than 26 kilometers of Qinling North-South crossing. All the scenic spots are free. This kind of trip is economical, labor-saving and special, and my personal feeling is still good. I will share it with you.

Tip: Recently, in the rainy season in southern Shaanxi, there are many falling rocks and landslides in Qinling Mountain, and the Hanjiang River is at risk of rising water. You should be cautious when traveling, and it is best to choose a good weather before starting.
