Overview of London buses
LGOC began to use electric buses in 1902, and manufactured them by itself in 1909. 1904, Thomas Tilling started the earliest engine-driven bus service. After19111010, the last bus in LGOC stopped running. But the independently operated stagecoach has been operating until 19 14.
There are both single and double layers. There are more than 700 bus lines in Greater London, carrying 4 million passengers every week.
