One-day tour of Wang 'e: How to play Wang 'e Urban Eco-cultural Park?
Jinniu Town, Daye, Hubei Province has a 2700-year-old Wang Echeng, which is desolate and next to a small village. In fact, it is a brick wall, a large area of weeds, and the names of some ruins. The city more than 2000 years ago has long since disappeared.
Don't underestimate this place. Hubei's abbreviation' e' comes from this. In ancient times, it belonged to Ezhou. After the founding of New China, it was placed in Huanggang and later in Daye, Huangshi. Recently, some people have invested in the construction of Wang 'e Urban Ecological Park, but it is still far from the real site selection.
Speaking of Wang E, I am ashamed. Many Hubei people only know the words Wang E on the license plate, but they don't know the origin of Wang E, not to mention Wang E's sad past.

Earlier, Hubei and Chu were not the same thing. The ancestors of Hubei people were a tribe in the Yellow River valley who made a living by catching crocodiles. This crocodile is an ancient Chinese alligator, distributed in the Yangtze River and Yellow River basins. More than 4000 years ago, the Chinese alligator was captured by Hubei people in Shanxi. For some unknown reason, the king of Hubei tribe voted for Shang Zhouwang, and he was named Hou of Hubei. Together with Zhou Wenwang and others, he was called the "Three Kings" of Shang Dynasty.
Shang Zhouwang sent someone to cut off the head of the Earl of Hubei, because he loved him. How inhuman! At the same time, Zhou Wenwang was imprisoned because of Shang Zhouwang's involvement. Fortunately, King Wen's servant gave Zhou Wang a beautiful woman, and the rescuer had a narrow escape. After Zhou Wenwang came back, he set out from Mengjin, defeated Shang Zhouwang and won the world. Countries fought and annexed each other in the Western Zhou Dynasty, and Hubei was annexed when Jin became strong.
In order to avoid killing, Hubei adherents wandered from the Central Plains to the south, mainly staying in Nanyang, Suizhou and Daye. According to historical records, Hubei people in distress are divided into western Hubei people and eastern Hubei people. In the end, only the people of eastern Hubei in Daye survived the war and struggled to survive, still using the name Hubei.

What's more, Chu in Hubei was also a small country at that time, with a land area of no more than 50 miles and only a thousand families. So poor that even Zhou Wang's tribute is precious. In fact, the ancestors of Chu people are all very awesome and are considered to be three emperors and five emperors. Grandfather Zhuan Xu Levin is the grandson of the Yellow Emperor and a serious royal family.
It's a pity that the Chu people passed it on to Xiong Yi, which has no royal flavor at all. Only from the son of viscount Zhou, fifty miles away, Jingshan and Danshui are barren, that is, the upper reaches of the Hanshui River today. So Hubei people don't have to talk about the Yangtze River. In fact, it is the Hanjiang River and the mother river that deserves the memory and pride of Hubei people!
Old town address
Xiong Yi's descendants were very dissatisfied with Zhou Wang's enfeoffment system and always felt wronged. They gradually became restless, so they expanded their territory everywhere along the Hanshui River, and destroyed Hubei when the big bear got sick and became the king of Chu. These Hubei people are really vulnerable. At least you're descended from crocodile hunters. You can't get worse in the war.
How could it be destroyed by the Jin State in the north and the Chu State in the south? It was born the fate of national subjugation! According to historical records, Chu and Hubei were destroyed. Sima Qian said that the bear's illness can make people live in Hanshui, and it is necessary to mobilize the army to conquer Yong and promote Guangdong and even Hubei. Chu people occupied Hubei people's cities, got Hubei people's granaries, and took a fancy to the good feng shui by Wangcheng Lake in Hubei. They have just moved the capital out of the mountains.
Sima Qian's "Historical Records" did not record whether the Chu people moved to Wang 'e, but Sima Qian only said that the Chu king was overstepping the Zhou Dynasty and the world was in chaos. Zhou Wang was furious and led his ministers to attack Chu together, and the two sides fought in Hanshui River.
One or two skills,
Whether Wang Echeng is the capital of Chu State has different opinions, and even experts and scholars have a great debate: archaeologists say that there are very few in the Western Zhou Dynasty, and only the capitals of vassal States are possible. From the scale of Wang Echeng site of 6.5438+0.5 million square meters and the east gate of the site, the lanes of five chariots can be parallel; Looking at the history books, it is said that the capital of Chu moved to Hubei through the history books, but it was not said that the capital of Chu moved to Hubei. History is always confusing! But as we all know, Wang Echeng, as the fief of Chu Xionghong, is different from Chu.

Judging from the 800-year history of Chu, Hubei people have always thought that the abbreviation of Hubei today should be Chu, not Hubei. This seems to be the truth, but history does not depend on human subjective will. Neither Hubei brought by Hubei people nor Hubei inherited by Chu people from Yue people can bypass the existence of Hubei.
Most importantly, after Qin Shihuang unified China, he did not forget Ezhou and set up Hubei County in the southeast of Hubei. Since then, the word Hubei has entered the administrative divisions of various dynasties in Hubei. It was the Tang Dynasty that first called Hubei a province, and it was called' Observation History of Hubei Province', which was equivalent to Hubei Province.
Later, the Yuan Dynasty and the Ming Dynasty set up Huguang Province, changed Hubei to Chu, and most people called it Chu Province. The political department of the two lakes was established in the Qing Dynasty, and the two lakes belong to the same department. The abbreviation of the two provinces is Chu, which brings a lot of trouble to writing.
Finally, Emperor Xianfeng wrote Hubei into the imperial edict to refer to Hubei, and then hammered it into the abbreviation of Hubei. Actually, it doesn't matter what word you choose. What matters is how much "anti-Zhou" spirit the Chu people have. Imagine: If the bear couldn't kill Hubei, would Hubei still be the world of Chu? If Chu Zhuangwang really moved Zhou Wang's tripod, would the Chu people unify China?
No matter who Wang E once belonged to, it became the glory of Chu through its demise. We should not forget it.
