What are the cultural landscapes in Chengdu?
Chengdu has many historical sites and cultural landscapes such as Wuhou Temple, Du Fu Caotang, Yongling, Wangjianglou, Qingyang Palace, Wenshuyuan and Zhaojue Temple. Chengdu is also the habitat of Sichuan giant pandas and has a world-famous giant panda base.
Dujiangyan irrigation system
Dujiangyan is located in Guankou Town, Dujiangyan City, Chengdu, Sichuan Province. It is a large-scale water conservancy project built in ancient China and has been used ever since. Known as "the originator of world water culture", it is a famous tourist attraction in China. It is generally believed that Dujiangyan Water Conservancy Project was built around 256 BC by Li Bing, the prefect of Shu County of Qin State, and his sons. It is the oldest and only preserved water conservancy project in the world, which is characterized by water diversion without dams and is also a world cultural heritage.
Marquis temple
Wuhou Temple Museum is a famous cultural shrine of the Three Kingdoms. Wuhou Temple is the most famous memorial site of Zhuge Liang and Liu Bei in China, and it is also the only temple where the monarch and the minister worship together. It is also the most influential museum of cultural relics of the Three Kingdoms in China. Wuhou Temple was founded in 223. It is mainly composed of Hui Ling, Han Zhaolie Temple and Wuhou Temple. It is the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units, with dense cypresses, elegant environment and magnificent halls.
Du Fu Thatched Cottage
Du Fu Caotang is the former residence of Tang Dynasty poet Du Fu in Chengdu, which is located in the center of Chengdu. This is a famous garden full of poetry and bamboo forest scenery. The poet Du Fu moved to Chengdu in 759, which lasted three years and nine months. He wrote more than 240 poems here, and the famous "Caotang is blown by autumn wind" is the work of living in Caotang. The main buildings are Dayi, Stone Tang Poetry, Chai Men, Ministry of Industry Temple, Shaoling Caotang, etc. Caotang Museum has more than 30,000 volumes of historical materials and more than 2,000 pieces of cultural relics, which are precious materials for studying poet Du Fu. Du Fu Caotang is the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
Serdang snow mountain
Xiling Snow Mountain is located in Dayi County, Chengdu, only 95 kilometers away from Chengdu, with a total area of 375 square kilometers. It is a world natural heritage, a giant panda habitat, an AAAA-level tourist scenic spot and a national key scenic spot. Because the great poet Du Fu in the Tang Dynasty "the window contains autumn snow thousands of miles in Xiling, and the boating gate in Wan Li, Wu Dong", it is named as snow all year round in the scenic spot. Miaojiling, the main peak, is 5353 meters above sea level, making it the first peak in Chengdu.
Jinsha site
Jinsha Site, located in Qingyang Avenue, Chengdu, is known as the first major archaeological discovery in China in 2 1 century, and was rated as one of the top ten new archaeological discoveries in China in 20001year. This site represents the splendid ancient Shu culture more than 3000 years ago. Among the more than 3,000 cultural relics unearthed, most of them are exquisite gold and jade ornaments and a large number of funerary objects. The site culture is in the same strain as the Sanxingdui site culture in Guanghan, which is another great achievement in the archaeological history of China after Sanxingdui. It is a national key cultural relics protection unit.
qingyang palace
Qingyang Palace is one of the famous Taoist temples in China, located in Chengdu and built in the Tang Dynasty. The existing temples were built in the Qing Dynasty. The main buildings in China are Lingzu Hall, Hunyuan Hall, Bagua Pavilion, Wuji Hall (Sanqing Hall), Doumu Hall, Tangwang Hall and Chaijingtai. Qingyang Palace is an important place to study the ancient culture and Taoist culture of this country.
Zhaojue Temple
Zhaojue Temple is a key Buddhist temple in the Han nationality area, a key Buddhist temple in Sichuan Province and a key Buddhist activity place in China as determined by the State Council 1983, and is known as the "First Zen Forest" in western Sichuan. Since the Tang Dynasty was founded in Zhaojue Temple, many eminent monks have emerged. Later, under the auspices of Zhaojue Temple, Master Ding Qing rebuilt the Daxiong Hall, Tongyuan Hall, Drum Tower and Buddha Hall, making them one of the largest and most spectacular temples in Southwest China.
Wen Shu Monastery
Wenshuyuan is one of the "four jungles" in western Sichuan in the Qing Dynasty. Its predecessor was Miaoyuan Pagoda in Tang Dynasty, and it was named Xinxiang Temple in Song Dynasty. The Ming Dynasty was destroyed by war, and it was renamed Wenshuyuan after being rebuilt in the 30th year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty (A.D. 169 1). There are more than 500 paintings and calligraphy by ancient and modern celebrities since the Tang and Song Dynasties, more than 20,000 copies of various classics/kloc-0, and physical treasures such as inscriptions, sculptures and embroidery since the Han Dynasty.
Wangjianglou Park
Wangjiangta Park is located in the south bank of Jinjiang River, Jiuyan Bridge outside the East Gate of Chengdu, with an area of 176.5 mu. On the inner shore of the park, there are willow pillars, glittering buildings, bamboo paths and pavilions. The main buildings are Chongli Building, Jinzhuo Building, Huanjian Pavilion, Wuyunxian Pavilion, Liubeichi and Quanxiangxie, which were successively built here in the Ming and Qing Dynasties to commemorate Xue Tao, a famous poetess in the Tang Dynasty. In the Republic of China, it was turned into Wangjiang Tower Park and became a famous scenic spot in the city. Now it is a national key cultural relics protection unit.
Kuanzhaixiangzi Alleys
Kuanzhai Lane is a large-scale ancient street left over from Chengdu in the Qing Dynasty. It is also known as the protected block of three famous historical and cultural cities in Chengdu, together with Daci Temple and Wenshuyuan. On the basis of protecting the original buildings in old Chengdu, this area has formed a compound cultural commercial street with tourism and leisure as the main feature, distinctive regional characteristics and strong Bashu cultural atmosphere, and finally turned into a "rich and little city" with the connotation of "old Chengdu film and new" city living room ".
Baihuatan Park
Baihuatan Park is located in Huanhua Scenic Area in the western suburbs of Chengdu, adjacent to Qingyang Palace and Du Fu Caotang, covering an area of about 135 mu. The park was named after "Notes on Places of Interest in the Middle of Shu", and the poet Du Fu left a famous sentence here: "A thatched cottage in the west of Wan Li Bridge, a pool of flowers is a blue wave".
