It was hit by two disasters and closed twice in three years

Before Jiuzhaigou became a tourist attraction, Jiuzhaigou was affected by the earthquake and stopped receiving tourists in August 2017. After several months of reconstruction, Jiuzhaigou was restored to its original state. However, just over three months after Jiuzhaigou was rebuilt, the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area was closed again due to a flash flood and debris flow disaster, which also affected Jiuzhaigou's business. Therefore, Jiuzhaigou is now very cautious in receiving tourists.

It will reopen before the National Day and will not accept individual tourists for the time being

In September 2019, the Jiuzhaigou Administration Bureau in Aba, Sichuan issued a trial operation announcement and decided to open part of the Jiuzhaigou landscape from September 27 Resumption of opening to the outside world. The open areas include Zharu Temple in Zharugou, Rizegou (the scenic spot from Nuorilang to Wuhuahai), Zechawagou, etc. These are areas stipulated in the announcement to be open. It is stipulated that Jiuzhaigou can receive group tourists organized by travel agencies, but it will not accept individual tourists for the time being, and the maximum number of tourists it can receive per day is 5,000. Such regulations also lay the foundation for the sustainable development of Jiuzhaigou.

Safety first

In 2018, three people were detained in Jiuzhaigou for driving tourists into Jiuzhaigou. According to Jiuzhaigou official news, a group of Gao and Ze drove to Jiuzhaigou privately. They drove into Jiuzhaigou, but took five tourists to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area to stay and play in an evasive manner, just to evade fares and save ticket money. They violated the regulations. stipulated. On the day of the incident, several of them were discovered by law enforcement officers from the Jiuzhaigou Administration Bureau and the Public Security Bureau to evade fares and were arrested on the spot. Therefore, for the current safety and order of tourists in Jiuzhaigou, only group tourists are accepted.
