Introduction of Nujiang Airport?

Nujiang Airport is a civil feeder airport planned by Liuku Town, Lushui County, Nujiang Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It is located in the south of Liuku Town, on the ridge of Jiuzhai Village, with a linear distance of 1km and a highway distance of 2 km.

It is preliminarily estimated that the airport construction land of this site is 2325 mu, and the investment of main construction projects is154.32 million yuan.

Yunnan Nujiang Civil Airport officially started construction on February 24, 20 16, with a total construction period of 3 years. It is planned to be officially opened to traffic in June 20 19.

The recent construction plan is as follows: First, the Nujiang Civil Airport project is planned to be designed according to the 4C-class flight zone standard. The main aircraft used are Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 series aircraft. The voyage is mainly in Kunming, Yunnan Province, and the long-term is mainly in cities outside Sichuan, Chongqing and Guizhou.

The preliminary work of the project is carried out in accordance with the relevant regulations and procedures of the national civil airport construction management. Experts unanimously recommended Xinzhai site as the site of Nujiang civil airport to carry out the next phase of work. The technical review of the site selection stage has been fully completed, and the final site selection approval procedure has been entered. At present, the project has been listed as a new preliminary work item in the mid-term evaluation of the 12th Five-Year Plan for China's civil aviation development. We will strive to complete the preliminary work of the project in the 12th Five-Year Plan and the navigation in the 13th Five-Year Plan. Second, there are four general airports in Quanzhou, namely Bingzhongluo in Gongshan, Liuku in Lushui, Shigeyue in Fugong and Jinding in Lanping.

Construction significance

Nujiang Yi Autonomous Prefecture is a frontier ethnic area without airports, railways, water transport and expressway. Nujiang Prefecture is famous for its majestic and steep Nujiang Grand Canyon, and the alpine canyon also makes it difficult for Nujiang people to walk.

Airport is the most basic and important infrastructure of air transportation. The construction of Nujiang civil airport conforms to the national civil airport layout planning and the needs of local social and economic development and resource development. From March, 2065438 to March, 2002, through the on-the-spot reconnaissance and scientific demonstration by the leaders and experts of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, Yunnan Air Traffic Control Branch of Civil Aviation, it was determined that Xinzhai site was the first choice for the airport of Nujiang Yi Autonomous Prefecture. So far, the preliminary work of Nujiang Airport Project has made great progress.
