Jingmei Village is located on the east side of the central part of Jiangdong Town, 13.9 kilometers north of Chenganbu, Chaoan County. It is 2.2 kilometers east of the Jiangdong Town Government Residency, near the west bank of the rapid east stream of Hanjiang River.

The village was founded during the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty (1403-1424). At that time, Duke Dongxing, the 148th ancestor of the Liu family, came here from Raopingping'ao Summer School to start a business. There is a joint record in the "Shidetang" of Liu's ancestral hall: "From Baizhou to Chaozhou, there is no other sect with a long history. The original sect lived in Haiyi, with deep roots and luxuriant branches." It can be tested.

The Sanyuan Pagoda is located on Liyu Mountain in Jingwei Township, Jiangdong Town, Chaoan County, across the river from Maotou Mountain, and is close to the water for several feet. During the peak season, the river is turbulent and rapid. People call it "urgent water", so the tower is also called "urgent water tower".

The Sanyuan Pagoda was built in the 33rd year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1605 AD) and completed in the 35th year of Wanli (160 AD).
