Basic introduction of Xinglong temple

Xinglong Temple is a famous tourist destination of Mudanjiang archaeological site.

Xinglong Temple is also known as Nanda Temple and Poetry Buddha Temple. Southwest of Bohai Town, Ning 'an City. Built in the early years of Kangxi, it is a temple complex in Qing Dynasty. According to Ning 'an County Records, Xinglong Temple once had triple Buddhist temples. In the 28th year of Daoguang, a fire destroyed some temples. Xianfeng was rebuilt in five years and built in eleven years. Today, there are five halls, including Mashe, Guandi Hall, Tianwang Hall, Daxiong Hall and Wang Sheng Temple. The original meditation hall, annex hall and the second floor of the bell and drum are all gone today.

Daxiong Hall is a nine-ridge temple-style building with wooden barrel structure, with three buckets, four for seven shops, thirty-four for five shops and four triangular eaves. It is the only wooden arch building in Heilongjiang Province in the early Qing Dynasty. After renovation and painting, the Pentecostal temple has maintained its original appearance and has now been turned into a showroom for historical relics. There is a small stone Buddha in Bohai Sea in the third hall, and a stone lion in Qing Dynasty in front of the hall. Between the three temples and the Hall of the Great Hero, stands the famous Stone Lantern Tower (Stone Lighthouse), a Buddhist building in the Bohai period. In front of the temple, there are rebuilt steles of Xinglong Temple and large Buddhist stone carvings in Bohai period. On the right front of the horse hall, there is a tombstone of Sabusu's father, although it was moved by Hana, the general of Qing Heilongjiang.
