Where is the Laos Special Economic Zone?

Laos Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone is located in Dong Peng County, northwest of Bojo Province, Laos. Located on the Mekong River, at the junction of Laos, Thailand and Myanmar, it is adjacent to Jinlong Mountain, the remnant vein of Hengduan Mountain in the east, Chiang Rai House in Thailand in the southwest and tachilek in Myanmar across the Mekong River in the northwest.

The total development area of Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone is 100 square kilometers, including 30 square kilometers of core development zone and 70 square kilometers of natural forest protection zone. By 20 17, the developed area is about 8 square kilometers and the total construction area is about 1 10,000 square meters.

Main functions:

On April 26th, 2007, Mr Zhao Wei's company signed investment contracts with the governments of Lao People's Democratic Republic and China to establish the "Golden Triangle ASEAN Economic Tourism Zone" with a planned construction area of 827 hectares.

As the main developer of this project, Laos Jinmu Cotton Group Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Jinmu Cotton International (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd., which was incorporated in the capital Vientiane in August 2007.
