However, once the "Tongguling International Ecological Tourism Zone Master Plan" reviewed and approved by the Provincial Planning Committee this time becomes a reality, not only will the danger of Wenchang being marginalized in Hainan tourism be completely eliminated, The bleak status of vacation and leisure tourism in Qiongbei Tourism Circle is also expected to be greatly improved.

Relying on one ridge, two bays and one river

The total planned area of ??Tongguling International Ecological Tourism Zone is 86.64 square kilometers. The land area is 46.64 square kilometers, including Tongguling National Nature Reserve, Baoling River, Qishui Bay, and Moon Bay areas; the sea area is 40 square kilometers; the total coastline is 28 kilometers.

In terms of planned spatial structure, the tourist area relies on "one ridge (Tongguling), two bays (Qishui Bay, Moon Bay), and one river (Baoling River)" to form "one center and one axis" , two belts, multiple groups” spatial structure.

Yixin: Tongguling National Nature Reserve is also the theme core brand symbol of the overall landscape space of the planning area; one axis: the main tourism transportation axis in the planning area; two belts: Baoling River landscape belt and coastal area Scenic belt; multi-group: that is, multiple tourism, leisure and vacation groups with different themes.

Highlight the theme of tropical coastal tourism

According to the general plan, the future Tongguling International Ecological Tourism Zone will have seven functional orientations:

Sightseeing functions: Tongguling Regional Forest Park tours, adventures, stone park tours, sea fishing and other services;

Leisure and vacation functions: various levels of resort facilities and services;

Tourist community functions: medium Long-term vacation residential community services;

Leisure sports functions: golf courses, yacht clubs, marine sports, diving and other leisure sports services;

Entertainment and catering functions: cultural entertainment, leisure entertainment, special features Catering and other services;

Natural protection function: strengthen the protection of animal and plant resources and ecological environment in Tongguling National Nature Reserve, and carry out restorative protection of the mangrove ecological environment;

Science popularization and expedition functions: popularization of scientific knowledge on terrestrial and marine life, rare geological landforms and services for expedition expeditions.

The planning area will be divided into 8 functional areas: Tongguling National Nature Reserve, Qishui Bay Coastal Resort, Moon Bay Coastal Resort, Yunti Creative Park, Baoling River Park Central Area , Longlou tourist town area, coastal ecological protection zone, and peripheral ecological farm area.

It is planned to relocate 17 villages

According to the plan, among the existing 29 villages in Tongguling International Ecological Tourism Zone, 17 villages are planned to be relocated, and most of the villagers will be relocated to the township. , farmers will be engaged in service industries closely related to tourism and vacation. Some villagers relocated to expanded villages near the township, and some of them are still engaged in agricultural production. It is planned to retain and transform 8 villages, control their scale, improve supporting facilities, and improve the environment, so that they can become country hotels and country clubs with strong local characteristics. Retain and expand 4 villages: Houde Village, Hongfu Village, Zhounan Village, and Feilong Village. 66 hectares of demolition and resettlement land will be arranged in the expanded reserved villages near the town and its surrounding areas.
