Where to travel in Beijing?

Beijing's tourist attractions include Beihai Park, Gongwangfu, China Fangshan World Geopark, Zhoukoudian Peking Man Site, Tiantan Park and Mutianyu Great Wall.

Beihai Park is located at Jinwen Street 1, Xicheng District, Beijing, with Jingshan Park in the east, Zhongnanhai in the south and Shichahai in the north. The whole park covers an area of 682,000 square meters, and 1925 is open as a park.

2. Gongwangfu

Gongwangfu Garden, located at the front of Haixi and south bank of Shichahai, is a national 5A-level tourist attraction. It is the largest palace in the Qing Dynasty, and was once the residence of Little Shenyang and Qing Wang Yonglin. In the first year of Xianfeng in Qing Dynasty, Prince Gong Yixin became the owner of the house, hence the name Prince Gong's mansion.

3. Fangshan World Geopark in China

China Fangshan World Geopark is located at the junction of southwest Beijing and Hebei Province, across Fangshan District of Beijing and Laishui County and Laiyuan County of Baoding City, Hebei Province.

4. Zhoukoudian Peking Man Site

Zhoukoudian Site, also known as Zhoukoudian Peking Man Site, is located in Longgushan, Zhoukoudian Town, Fangshan District, Beijing. It was born about 300 thousand to 700 thousand years ago. It is one of the Pleistocene ancient human sites with rich connotation, complete data and scientific research value in the world.

5. Tiantan Park

Tiantan Park, formerly known as Tianditan, is located at No.7 Tiantan Dongli, Dongcheng District, Beijing. Founded in the 18th year of Yongle in Ming Dynasty, Ming Jiajing changed its name to the Temple of Heaven in the 9th year. It is a place where emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties offered sacrifices to heaven and prayed for blessings, with a total area of 273 hectares. It is the largest existing ancient sacrificial building complex in China.

6. Mutianyu Great Wall

Mutianyu Great Wall, located in Mutianyu Village, Bohai Town, Huairou District, Beijing, is 73 kilometers away from Beijing, and enjoys the reputation of Wan Li Great Wall and Mutianyu. Mutianyu Great Wall, with a total length of 5,400 meters, is the longest Great Wall in China and one of the six scenic spots in Beijing/KLOC-0.
