? We enjoyed walking every day when we visited Seville. The scale of the city is especially suitable for walking and viewing, and the concentrated distribution of scenic spots makes visitors not miss any historical sites.
? Plaza de Toros de la Real Maestranza de Caballerí a de Sevilla is the oldest bullring in Spain, also known as Maestranza. The "Abril Festival" held here is one of the most famous bullfighting festivals in the world. This bullring can accommodate 12, people to watch the bullfight. It is also a part of Seville Knights Association, an aristocratic association established for traditional cavalry training.
? Bullfighting during the Feria de Abril in Seville is the most important event in the city's bullfighting calendar. The Christmas season usually begins in March or April (depending on Christmas Day in Sumatra) until late September. Every year, the Royal Bullring will entrust a painter to make a poster announcing that the bullfighting season will be held in the Royal Bullring. Bullfighting performance is a rare contest between life and death in the 21st century.
? Although bullfighting is deeply rooted in the historical tradition of Spain. But today, local public opinion runs counter to tradition. The bullring provides sufficient information for tourists who are interested in participating in bullfighting activities, but its website believes that its readers can decide for themselves the moral standards of bullfighting as an attractive activity.
? Maestranza itself is considered as one of the most pleasant tourist attractions in the city, and of course it is also one of the most visited places. As a bullfighting stage, it is considered to be one of the most challenging environments in the world. Its historical characteristics and public viewing make it the most unmissable bullfighting venue for all bullfighting fans.
? Tourists may not be lucky enough to catch up with the bullfighting day, but the bullring and the bullfighting Expo can be visited every day. If tourists are interested in the history of bullfighting, there is a museum near the oldest bullring in the world, which displays all kinds of costumes, photos and paintings showing bullfighting performances. The rich historical materials can make tourists study for more than an hour.
? Since 1749, the ring-shaped bullring has been built on Mount Baratillo, which replaced the original rectangular bullring. In 1761, architecture began to merge into Ocheva (each Ocheva is equivalent to four arches). The inner facade of the square is called Prince's Box, which was completed in 1765. This "box" consists of two parts: the entrance through which the successful matador passes (also called Prince's Gate) and the theater box itself which is exclusively used by the Spanish royal family. The top of the "box" consists of four arches with a semi-orange dome and white and blue tiles at the top. It was covered with exquisite carvings. When Carlos III banned bullfighting celebrations in 1786, the sculpture work was stopped, even though only one third of the square was completed. An early facility called Palco de la Diputacion was also built in this period, located in front of toriles and Prince's Box.
? Thirty-four years later, on the left and right sides of the prince's box, a half-ring sliding cover was completed. It can be easily seen from the Cathedral and the Giralda minaret, and this completion event was reflected in a large number of stamps at that time.
? By 1868, the shepherd's box was so dilapidated that the Italian sculptor Augusto Franco personally transformed it and built a marble railing and the peak of the shepherd's box in the new area. Where the clock is now, five shepherd boxes have been added on each side of the balcony. The construction of the ring was completed in 1881. Two-thirds of the structure is made of stone and the rest is made of wood. From 1914 to 1915, under the guidance of Seville architect Anibal Gonzalez, these stone stands were repainted with bricks. All rows are rebuilt with a smoother slope. Ten to twelve rows of shady seats, fourteen rows in the sun, and three rows of barriers. A row of armchairs is built in the upper part of the shaded area, in front of the box.
? There is a bronze statue of a matador outside the bullring in Seville. His name is Francisco Romero Lopez, and he was born in camas near Seville on December 1, 1933. He is also known as Crowe Romero. On August 22nd, 1954, he and Limonot started his career in La Panoleta (Seville). On September 8, 1954, he took part in a fight with a bull for the first time. On July 18th, 1957, he made his debut in Madrid. At that time, his bullfighting team was from Aripio Pé rez TaBernero, and he was not very successful that day. He retired at the age of 66, ending his 42-year career. His bullfighting career is the longest among bullfighters.
? Originally, bullfighting was used for military training to enhance the fighting capacity of soldiers and reflect the chivalry of Europe. Later, it gradually evolved into a performance, and it was also the entertainment for nobles to watch fighting animals. The matador wears gorgeous costumes and dances bright red silk, turning bloody battles into dances. This kind of performance embodies the beauty of men's fearless courage and strength.
? Bullfighting is always full of blood and violence, and the bullfighting activities that can be preserved to this day are full of vitality in the Seville bullring, which is not as dark and serious as the Colosseum in Rome.
? I stood in the middle of the golden arena and looked at the bright yellow, red and white audience platform, as if I heard my inner passion surging. It's not hard to imagine that in the bullfighting season, this bullring, which can accommodate tens of thousands of spectators, is full of blood: cheers, shouts and applause. We not only feel the enthusiasm of the Spanish, but also feel the tension, helplessness and excitement of the matador in the face of unpredictable death.
