Classification of tourism emergencies

Paragraph 2 of Article 39 of the Measures stipulates that according to the nature, degree of harm, controllability and the impact caused or likely to be caused by tourism emergencies, tourism emergencies are generally divided into four grades: particularly significant, significant, large and general.

① Particularly serious tourism emergencies include the following situations: more than 30 people died (including missing) or1000 people were seriously injured; More than 500 tourists stayed for more than 24 hours, which seriously affected the local production and living order; Other events that have a particularly significant impact at home and abroad and pose a particularly significant threat to the personal and property safety of tourists.

② Major tourism emergencies include the following situations: causing or possibly causing more than 65,438 deaths (including missing) and less than 30 people, or seriously injuring more than 50 people1000 people; More than 200 tourists stayed for more than 24 hours, which seriously affected the local production and living order; Other events that have a significant impact at home and abroad and pose a major threat to the personal and property safety of tourists.

(3) Major tourism emergencies include the following situations: causing or possibly causing death (including missing) of more than 3 people 10 and less than 50 people, or seriously injuring 10 and less than 50 people; More than 50 tourists and less than 200 tourists, staying for more than 24 hours, which has a great impact on the local production and living order; Other events that have great influence at home and abroad and pose a great threat to the personal and property safety of tourists.

④ General tourism emergencies include the following situations: causing or possibly causing the death of less than 3 people (including missing) or serious injury of less than 10 people; There are less than 50 tourists and their stay time exceeds 24 hours, which has a certain impact on the local production and living order; Other events that have a certain influence at home and abroad and pose a certain threat to the personal and property safety of tourists.
