How about a tourist visa in Thailand?
The visa processing process in Thailand includes: submitting a valid passport. Fill in and submit the visa application form. Different visas have different forms. Most of them should be filled out in foreign languages and photos should be provided at the same time. Submit various documents related to the application, such as birth certificate, marital status, education, work experience, etc. After going to the competent department of the host country for necessary examination and approval, inform the embassy or consulate of the host country of the examination and approval opinions. If you agree, a visa will be issued. If the visa is refused, the applicant will also be informed (the embassy or consulate will not refund the visa refusal fee).
Pay the visa fee. Generally speaking, when submitting a visa application, you must pay the fee first. In some countries, the fee is charged only after the visa application is successful. Generally speaking, immigrant visa fees are slightly higher and non-immigrant visa fees are slightly lower. There are also some countries and regions that are visa-free.
How to deal with it?
There are two ways to apply for a pre-departure visa: going to the embassy in person or looking for a travel agency.
Deal with it yourself:
(1) Prepare relevant materials according to the requirements of the embassy. Note that to apply for a tourist visa in Thailand, you need to have a paid ticket order and travel itinerary.
(2) Submit the application in person at the embassy (consulate) and apply for a visa by yourself, regardless of the place where the passport is issued. Just choose the nearest embassy (consulate) in your city.
③ Go to the embassy (consulate) to collect the passport according to the date notified by the embassy (consulate) (usually about 5 working days).
It takes 3 working days for a general embassy or consulate to go through the formalities. Embassies and consulates only accept materials from 9: 00-1:00 on working days, and only accept passports from 14:00- 16:00. Please arrange your own time.
Travel agent:
(1) Prepare relevant materials according to the requirements of travel agencies.
② Mail the visa application materials to the address provided by the travel agency.
(3) just wait for the passport to be sent back.
Passports must be valid for more than 6 months, whether they are handled by themselves or by travel agencies.
