Handan Garden Expo Park is located in the planning area of West Lake Park in Qicun, Fuxing District, Handan City, Hebei Province, with a total area of about 4,242 mu and a core area of 1.838 mu. The drainage area is about 900 mu, the green area is about 3300 mu, and the total construction area is about 55,000 square meters. Sponsored by the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Department of Hebei Province, and undertaken by the Handan Municipal People's Government, the site of the 4th Garden Expo in Hebei Province.

The site of Handan Garden Expo Park used to be a garbage dump and industrial wasteland. Handan city, in conjunction with several construction units, has carried out comprehensive improvement through ecological restoration. Construction started on May 28th, 20 18. In September 2020, 16 was completed and opened to traffic. Arbor planting in the whole park is basically completed, with more than 36,000 trees and 700,000 shrubs planted.

The whole park is divided into seven functional areas: core cultural tour area, ecological restoration practice area, ecological wetland protection area, regional characteristics exhibition area, Gangcheng agricultural interesting service area, Qicun folk experience area and Goujian agricultural tourism culture area. Efforts will be made to create "Floating Moon, New Rhyme of Zhaodu, Landscape Handan, Castle Peak Scroll, Industrial Heritage, Indian Tower Sunset, Mengze Hong Fei, Qing Canal, Mine Garden and Folk Impression". In addition, there is the 13 exhibition garden and a parent-child paradise that embodies the cultural characteristics of cities in Hebei Province. It focuses on ecological restoration, cultural heritage and wisdom garden blog.
