The wind in Dali is so strong that the city is bare and covered with thorns. Cangshan Erhai Lake is famous, but the scenery is not as good as Yulong Snow Mountain and Lugu Lake, and the ancient city is far less than Lijiang.

It's best to stay in the ancient city to go to Lijiang. There are two ancient cities in Lijiang, the famous Dayan ancient city, which is really well built and very lively. Although winter is the off-season of tourism, there will be no feeling of desolation. Shuhe ancient city is very quiet, with a strong sense of hiding and many caravans. It's a pity that Shangri-La doesn't have bloom in winter, but it's time to go to Meili Snow Mountain. Although Yulong Snow Mountain is famous, there are not many glaciers.
