The altitude span of this winding mountain road is about 1880 meters, which takes a long time. However, after arriving at Leidongping In these two hours, you can enjoy the beautiful natural scenery along the way, and the journey will not be boring.

After a 40-minute walk from Leidongping, you can reach the Jieyin Hall. The Jieyin Hall is dedicated to Jieyin Buddha, which we usually call Amitabha. If you have enough time, you can also visit it. Then we took the cable car directly to the Golden Summit here. It takes about 5 minutes for the cable car to reach the Golden Summit.

If it is still early after arranging meals and accommodation in Jinding, you can take a sightseeing train to visit the highest peak of Mount Emei - Wanfoding. Not only can you overlook Jinding here, but if the weather is clear, You can also overlook Wawu Mountain and Gongga Mountain in the distance.

The temperature at Golden Summit is low at night and is not suitable for sightseeing. It is recommended that you go to bed early and prepare for the next day's trip.

Depending on the season, the sunrise time at Golden Summit is between 6:00 and 7:00. You must get up early the next day to enjoy the most beautiful sunrise scene and view the scenery from Golden Summit. After worshiping the golden statues of Samantabhadra in all directions, you can follow the route you came from, take the cable car back to the Jieyin Hall, walk to Leidongping, take the scenic transportation bus to the Wannian parking lot, the drive takes about an hour and a half, and then pass through Wannian Take the cable car to visit Wannian Temple. The temple has a beamless brick hall with ancient Indian architectural style and the famous bronze statue of Samantabhadra, which fully embodies the essence of Mount Emei's Buddhist culture.

It takes about 40 minutes to walk from Wannian Temple to Qingyin Pavilion. There are many trees along the way, which are lush and quiet. It is very interesting to walk through it. Qingyin Pavilion has "Double Bridge Qingyin", one of the ten scenic spots in Emei, which is a good place to take pictures. After passing Qingyin Pavilion and going upstream, you can reach the Heilongjiang Plank Road in about 20 minutes. At this time, the "line of sky" landscape will appear in front of you, with steep cliffs on both sides and twists and turns of the plank road at your feet. The scenery along the way is the epitome of the Emei Mountains and Waters scenery. The essence. Walking 0.5 kilometers further is the largest natural ecological monkey area in the country. You can spend a little more time to have "close contact" with the monkeys, but at the same time, please pay attention to your own safety and take care of your belongings.

After visiting the Ecological Monkey Area, please return to Qingyin Pavilion along the original route, walk to Wuxiangang parking lot and take a bus back to the Tourist Passenger Transport Center. At this point, our tour in Mount Emei is over.

At 2 o'clock in the afternoon, we took a bus from Baoguo Temple to Leidongping, which took about 2 hours. We walked to Taiziping (2.5 kilometers away from Jinding) and stayed at Jinding. If you live in Taiziping, you will set off at 5:30 the next morning to go to the Golden Summit.

The next day: Watch the sunrise and the sea of ??clouds in the morning, and start going down the mountain after breakfast (about 9 o'clock).

There are more private hotels near Qingyin Pavilion, the accommodation environment is better, and the hardware is better than that of the temple.

Three of us went there. This arrangement not only made us feel tired, but also allowed us to enjoy a lot of beautiful scenery. Our average cost is 500 yuan/person.

Required equipment:

1: Clothing: You should bring a thick coat to keep out the cold at the Golden Summit at an altitude of 3077 meters. It doesn’t matter if you don’t bring it, you will arrive at Leidongping Going up, there are people renting cotton-padded clothes everywhere.

2. Shoes: General sports shoes or even cloth shoes will do. As long as you are not wearing leather shoes to climb mountains, it is just a different level of comfort, and the road is still easy to walk.

3. Generally speaking, there is no need for medicine, food and drinking water. If you really need to bring mineral water, don’t throw away the bottle after drinking. It is useful when going up the mountain.

4. You need to buy a crutch after entering the mountains, but you don’t need a very expensive and beautiful one, as long as it is usable, 4 yuan a piece is enough. It is mainly used for climbing mountains to support and drive away monkeys. If you buy something expensive, keep it as a souvenir.

5. If you plan to walk at night, you must bring a flashlight. However, there is generally no need to walk at night.

1. If you go to Mount Emei during the peak season, and you have worked so hard to climb to the Golden Summit and want to stay there until you watch the sunrise the next day and then find that there is no place to stay, don’t worry, just stay on the Golden Summit. Enjoy the scenery, go to Huazang Temple, then go to Sheshen Cliff to see if you can see the Buddha's light, and then start going down the mountain after 5 o'clock. Of course, this is not to give up watching the sunrise, but to walk 2.5 kilometers down to Taiziping. There is a small temple there. The conditions are indeed very bad, but it is cheap, ranging from 15 yuan to 20 yuan for a bed. The room is 60 yuan, and the price does not increase during the peak season. Secondly, people are generally dissatisfied with their stay here. Most people go to the Golden Summit by cable car. Those who climb the mountain want to live on the Golden Summit. Many people turn a blind eye to this place. Thirdly, they come here for the sake of the day. Yes, the conditions are almost there, but here they only put two quilts on each bed. On the contrary, many people living on the golden roof were shivering from the cold in the middle of the night, haha. In addition to this temple, there are several private hotels here, which are more expensive. The only drawback of living here is that you have to get up at 5 o'clock in the morning and start climbing to the Golden Summit at 5:30. But it doesn’t matter. When you wake up, store your luggage in the monk’s room first and travel lightly. Climbing the 5 miles on the moonlit mountain road is a unique experience, and you will feel very relaxed. Before you know it, arrive. But unless you have a flashlight, it is best to go with others when walking at night. It is not because you are afraid of people, but because you are afraid of the rich animal resources in Mount Emei.

2. It was really cold on the Golden Summit in the morning. So be sure to bring warm clothes. If you don’t bring them, you can rent them at Jinding. But it’s best to rent wherever you live and return it directly after use without having to carry it. All places that rent cotton-padded clothes have a flat price of 10 yuan a piece.

3. Monkeys are a major attraction in Mount Emei. Generally, monkeys will not invade you. But this does not mean that they will not pose a threat to you, so you still need to understand some taboos when dealing with monkeys. First of all, bring a crutch. Monkeys are afraid of that thing. Just don't mess with you. If there is a tendency to do this, you can raise the crutch to scare the monkeys. They will take a few steps back, but don't really hit them. Don't hold food, drinking bottles or plastic bags in your hands, as monkeys will rush over and snatch them away. So it’s best to keep everything in your backpack and take it out when needed where there are no monkeys. Don't touch the heads of monkeys, especially small monkeys. Otherwise, I don't know the consequences. Just try it yourself if you are brave enough. If you want to take pictures of monkeys, it’s best to do so in a place with many tourists, or with management staff or monks. Monkeys have happened to snatch cameras in the past, so it’s better to pay attention to safety. If you want to feed monkeys, it is best not to take a little bit out of a bag, as they will often grab the bag from your hand. So just take a little bit in your hand, and if you want to feed it, just give it all to them. After feeding it, forget it. Don’t take it in your backpack or pocket, so they can see it. Be careful to transfer your attention to your backpack or pocket. They are absolutely capable of tearing it apart for you.

4. There is generally no TV or activities after you settle in every night, so try to go to bed early to recharge your energy.

It is recommended to get two pots of boiling water before going to bed, and use one pot to soak your feet. Foot soaking can effectively relieve the fatigue of mountaineering. The other pot was saved for washing the next morning. Because there are too few water pipes in the accommodation and the water is a bit cold, if you want to rush to the Golden Summit to watch the sunrise but encounter someone else occupying the water pipes while washing, you will know the benefit of preparing water in advance.
