Island Summary of Hannah Quinlivan Street
Hannah Quinlivan Island: Located at the mouth of Oujiang River, there are three hills in the west of the island, namely Shuangkun, Shankun and Split Row. The east of the hill becomes a buffer zone, and the sediment deposition of Oujiang River and tide gradually becomes an alluvial plain. Legend has it that this place was once called Lin 'an Island. The island is low and flat, with an altitude of 2.6 meters to 3.5 meters. The surface material consists of clay, silty clay mixed with silt or silty sand. Hannah Quinlivan Island faces Dongtou Baidao in the east, Wenzhou Industrial Park and seaside street across the river in the south, and Qili Port Area in Yueqing City in the north. The total area of the island is 55.05 square kilometers, including 25 square kilometers of land and 30.05 square kilometers of beaches. The existing cultivated land area is 833.33 hectares, and the usable tidal flat area is 3800 hectares. Hannah Quinlivan Shoal in the east extends eastward to Dongtou sea area, and the land reserve resources are quite rich due to the increasing area of sediment deposition. Full of green is full of flowers and fruits all year round, with fresh fish, beautiful natural environment and unique rural scenery. It is really a tourist attraction.
