2019 Pre-trip luggage packing guide to Spain
In the preparation of international students for traveling abroad, luggage preparation is a very important step, so how to prepare luggage? Let’s take a look at the packing guide before traveling to Spain in 2019. Welcome to read.
First let’s take a look at what luggage to prepare?
1. Documents (if possible, it is recommended to scan the electronic version and keep it)
Passport (very important!)
Copies of passport and visa pages (2- 3 photos);
Original and copy of admission notice;
10 photos with white background (one or two inches are acceptable);
Original and copy of insurance policy Copies (2 copies recommended);
Documents required for school application.
2. Money and bank cards:
It is recommended to exchange some cash for euros before going abroad and carry it with you. When students have a bank account, parents can directly transfer money from home to the student's Spanish account, so there is no need to bring too many euros at once.
Regarding bank cards, it is recommended to only bring one Visa or MasterCard credit card as a backup.
3. Drugs
Commonly used drugs include cold medicine, fever medicine, diarrhea medicine, anti-inflammatory medicine, allergy medicine, gunpowder, Yunnan Baiyao, Fengyoujing, and Chinese patent medicines. It is recommended that those with dental problems seek dental care in China. Dental care abroad is very expensive.
4. Conversion plugs and power strips
The power sockets of all domestic electrical appliances are not universal in Spain. Conversion plugs can be purchased in domestic hardware stores or large shopping malls and are called European standards. (German standard) conversion plug. It is recommended to bring a good quality power strip so that the combination of conversion plug and power strip can use all domestic electrical appliances. The voltage in Spain is the same as in China, 220V, so there is no need to bring a transformer.
5. Clothing and shoes
Bring an appropriate amount of clothing and shoes. Most of them can be bought locally and are not expensive. You don’t need to bring too much. Be sure to bring a down jacket. It is recommended to bring some extra underwear, socks, etc. Foreign sizes are slightly larger than Chinese ones.
6. Bedding
Two sets of changeable sheets, quilt covers, and pillowcases are enough. You can bring more towels and other textiles, as they are more expensive to buy abroad. If you are traveling in winter and there is room in your luggage, you can bring a light quilt. Vacuuming it can reduce the size.
7. Food
You can bring some convenient Chinese seasonings, such as braised meat powder, stewed meat ingredients, chicken essence, MSG, etc., and you can bring more hot pot base ingredients. It will be very convenient for students who can cook and for dinner parties. You can buy it in Chinese stores later, but the price is a bit expensive and the choices are limited.
8. Books and stationery
You can bring some reference books or e-books for language learning and professional learning to facilitate reference during study. If you have professional needs, you can bring some drawing tools, etc. It is not recommended to bring this subfolder, etc.
9. Other items:
Glasses and contact lenses: Foreign glasses are usually more expensive than domestic ones. highly recommended.
Sunglasses: The sun in Spain is quite dazzling during the day, so it is recommended to wear them.
Computers, mobile phones and electronic equipment: not cheaper than in China, so it is recommended to bring them.
Rice cooker: Chinese people still like to eat rice, and it would be more convenient to have a rice cooker. The rice cookers here are more expensive than in China and have only one function.
Electric kettle (small): Spaniards rarely drink hot water. If you have room in your luggage, you can bring a small kettle.
Chinese condiments: Basic condiments are sold in Chinese stores. If you have special hobbies, you can bring them appropriately.
Girls with special needs are recommended to bring some extra-long sanitary napkins for night use.
It is recommended to bring facial masks and whitening products. There are relatively few types of facial masks you can buy in Spain, and it is difficult to find ones suitable for Chinese skin types. Spanish people regard black as beauty, so whitening products are also difficult to buy. It is recommended to bring them if you need them.
Not recommended to bring
Cosmetics, hygiene products, etc.: only travel size is recommended. They are available in local supermarkets and are cheap, so just bring what you can use for a short period of time.
There is no need to bring contact lens solution, it is available in pharmacies and supermarkets.
Kitchen knives, spatulas, iron pots, non-stick pans and other kitchen utensils (kitchen utensils are generally provided in rented houses).
Clothes hangers, laundry detergent (liquid), large bottles of shampoo, and body wash can be bought in supermarkets and are very cheap.
There is no need to bring pens, notebooks, etc.
Next, let’s take a look at how to pack your luggage?
1. Suitcase
The preferred suitcase size is 28 inches. If you go abroad for a long time, you will have a lot of things to bring. Having a large suitcase will save a lot of trouble. In addition, friends, it is best to choose a more durable suitcase. , because violent checking at the airport can easily damage the box and cause damage to the items.
The recommended number of suitcases is 2 (depending on the airline’s luggage allowance, each airline’s allowance is different, please check carefully when purchasing your ticket)
It is best to choose a backpack with a larger capacity for carry-on luggage. I don’t recommend a carry-on suitcase because it’s very inconvenient to carry three suitcases around! The large backpack can also be used when traveling in the future.
2. Clothes, pants, shoes, bags
Clothes: Prepare one or two pieces of thick clothes (down jackets, etc.) to avoid sneezing when you first arrive. It is not recommended to bring more spring and autumn clothes, because Spain has sales season every January and July, clothes, pants and shoes are very cheap, and the prices of brands such as ZARA and H&M are around 5-30 euros, so there is no need to bring them. too much.
Pants: Two pairs are enough for boys (anyway, these items will basically be eliminated by new clothes after coming to Banya, so it is really not recommended to bring too many clothes, and it can also reduce the luggage space) girls You can also bring two or three pairs of skirts, evening dresses, etc. It is also not recommended to bring too many.
Shoes: Bring one or two pairs of shoes that you usually wear and a pair of slippers. After all, shoes still take up a lot of luggage space, so pack as little as you can. Girls may have more shoes, but it is best not to exceed three pairs. If necessary, bring a pair of high heels.
Bags: Girls should bring one or two of their most commonly used bags, which they use during class and when going shopping. It's better for boys to bring a larger schoolbag, which can hold everything.
3. Bedding
Sheets and quilts: Prepare 90cm or 135cm sheets and quilts in advance in China. The beds in Spain are not as small as those in China, mainly these two. size. It is recommended to bring two sets so that they can be changed and washed.
Quilt (optional): If there is room in your suitcase, you can bring a bed. If not, forget it and buy it when you come. If you live at home or in a language school dormitory, these will be provided, so they are not necessary. If you have found a house in China in advance, it is best to bring a quilt, otherwise it will be really uncomfortable at night!
4. Cosmetics, skin care products, contact lenses
Cosmetics and skin care products: knock on the blackboard! These girls need to pay attention! If you are used to using Japanese and Korean brand cosmetics, especially facial masks! ! ! Please prepare more, it is difficult to buy here in Spain. If you like European and American brands, such as Lanc?me, Kiehl's, Estee Lauder, etc., then you don't need to bring them. After all, European brands are much cheaper in Spain than in China.
Contact lenses: For students who wear contact lenses, it is recommended to buy them in China and bring two or three pairs to prevent accidental loss. Contact lenses in Spain are still very expensive! In addition, you can also bring more care solution, even if it is 500ml, it is checked anyway.
You can also bring two or three contact lens cases. Foreign cases don’t have that clip, which is very worrying~
5. Electronic products
Computers, cameras, IPADs, mobile phones, etc. electronic product! Please bring them all! Don’t expect digital products in Spain to be very cheap. Kidney
You can bring one or two mobile phone power banks. Note, carry the power bank with you! Power banks are not allowed to be checked in China!
