The natural scenery of Yangzhai Town
Talk about the vicissitudes of the old path in Yangzhai The old path of the Yellow River is the lower reaches of the Huaihe River. It originates from Tongbai Mountain in Henan Province and flows eastward through Anhui and Jiangsu to the sea. The Huaihe River, with a total length of more than 1,000 kilometers, is my country's important geographical dividing line between north and south. Due to the influence of natural conditions, the Yellow River diverted the Huai River into the sea twice in the second year of Jianyan in the Southern Song Dynasty (1128 AD) and in the sixth year of Hongzhi in the Ming Dynasty (1494 AD). It has had a profound impact on the old course of the Yellow River and the surrounding geographical environment.
The landform changes on the east side of the road as Fengming faces the sun. During the Paleolithic Age about 7,000 years ago, the global climate became warmer, sea levels rose, and the coasts invaded westward on a large scale. Today's Beisha, Xiaogang, Xiaomazhuang, Lixin and Houshagang in Laoyangzhai Town to Dadun, Beiwan and Nanwan in Xingou and Shagang in Shizhuang Town to Jianhu Shanggang and Yandu In Longgang, this northwest-southeast-oriented sand embankment vaguely reflects the westward invasion of the coast. Before the pre-Qin Dynasty, the Huaihe River brought a large amount of sediment, forming an alluvial plain. Human activities have long existed in the area east of the ancient Yellow River, and their era belongs to the Qinglianggang Culture and Longshan Culture.
About 3-2 thousand years ago, the global climate became relatively cold, the coastline advanced eastward, and the mouth of the Huaihe River also moved eastward. "Yu Gong" records: "The Huaihe River is guided from Tongbai to Si in the east. , and then entered the sea eastward. "This was the situation in the pre-Qin Dynasty; "Funing County Chronicles" in the Guangxu Period recorded: "Before the Song and Yuan Dynasties, Beisha was the outlet to the sea." Volume 23 of the old "Funing County Chronicles" also records: "Shan. Yangdu is a transshipment channel, and the expedition to the Liao Dynasty must pass through Shanyang and Sheyang Lake, and then enter the sea from Beisha." It clearly pointed out that before the Tang Dynasty, the Huaihe River embankment and surrounding land had been formed in the Yangzhai area, and it was This leaves the story of Li Shimin setting up a stronghold and marching eastward, wiping out the Huaidong Gaishuwen Armed Forces.
After the Yellow River captured the Huaihe River in the second year of Jianyan of the Southern Song Dynasty (i.e. 1128), a large amount of mud yarn entered the Huaihe River and washed into the sea, causing the river bed of the old Yellow River to rise, the river mouth to move downward, and the original coastal continental shelf to form an alluvial plain. . Volume 52 of "Xingshui Jinjian" states that "the investigation revealed that Yuntiguan was Hehaikou in the past." "The Forget of the Unification of the Qing Dynasty" recorded in the Huai'an Mansion that "in the fourth year of Wanli, Huiqing Bay became a river... and the Tigguan passed down into the sea." It shows that by 1576, the entrance of the old road to the sea was not far east of Yunti Pass. Until the Yellow River moved northward in 1885, the basic form of the old road is that today the river bed is high and the east embankment is wide. During the Xingping reign of Emperor Xian of the Han Dynasty, Sun Jian, the father of Sun Quan, the Great Emperor of Eastern Wu, served as the magistrate of Yandu County. He sent his son Sun Ce to inspect the terrain in the Yangzhai area on the lower reaches of the Huaihe River and make preparations to fight against Cao Cao. At the end of the Sui Dynasty, Li Shimin set up camp in Yangzhai to eliminate the remaining local armed forces. At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, the local tycoon Yang Cheng and his son revolted and established themselves as the "King of the East China Sea". They used the North and South villages as their bases. Later, they joined forces with Zhang Shicheng's tribe of the Yan People's Rebel Army to guard the lower reaches of the ancient Yellow River and resisted the Mongolian and Yuan Dynasties. They were so powerful that Yangzhai It got its name from this and gradually prospered. Zeng Guofan, the governor of Liangjiang in the Qing Dynasty, led the river governor Wan Pinwei to inspect the old route and summoned the Funing County Magistrate to discuss the plan to manage the old route of the Yellow River. As far back as the Tang Dynasty, Japanese businessman Ren came ashore from Beisha, inspected upriver, and proposed the idea of ??building water conservancy facilities. It was not until the 25th year of the Republic of China (that is, 1936) that Huotong was built in Shanjiagang Ruoshou in Yangzhai after the death of Sun Yat-sen. dam. The poet Su Shi of the Song Dynasty, the great calligrapher Mi Di, and the poet Gong Zizhen of the Qing Dynasty traveled up the river at Yunti Pass to inspect the ancient Yellow River. Gong Zizhen, the great poet who was the Minister of Rites at the time, wrote the poem "The vast road outside Yunti Pass, and the soul is full of sorrow in one night" is to inspect the old path of the Yellow River. Inscribed.
From February 20 to March 6, 1942, the first enlarged meeting of the Central China Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China was successfully held in Shanjiagang by the ancient Yellow River. Comrade Liu Shaoqi presided over the meeting, March 1943 On the 19th, the 22nd Regiment of the 8th Brigade of the 3rd Division of the New Fourth Army fought against the invading Japanese troops on the east bank of the ancient Yellow River. At the cost of sacrificing 23 people, 264 Japanese troops were wiped out, which was the largest number of enemy annihilations in the Yanfu area. This battle was recorded in the Chinese Military Museum as a typical example of defeating more with less.
The development of the old course has yielded fruitful results. Since the reform and opening up, the old course of the Yellow River has undergone tremendous changes. The original production model of the past of "harvesting every ten years, making rice noodles, pimples, and ditches" no longer exists. More than 6,000 acres of fruit trees are full of life. Products such as Wei, red pepper, Jinshi, and Guoguang have been approved by the provincial government. According to department identification, the sugar content and other comprehensive indicators exceed similar varieties in Japan, Yantai and other places. Peaches in spring and early-maturing fruits in summer are popular both inside and outside the province. Yangzhai has become the area with the largest fruit sales in Yancheng City.
“Bees fly in the sky, apples hang in the sky, medicinal materials grow in the forest, and fish and crabs are buried in the water.” A virtuous cycle of three-dimensional planting, Atractylodes macrocephala, dangshen and other medicinal materials, peanuts, rape oil plants, and coordinated development.
In particular, the opening of the Yangpu Zhifu Bridge and the completion of the Ancient Yellow River Bridge have connected the intercity highway, and the ancient Yellow River old pile is full of infinite vitality. Connected to National Highway 204 in the east, Lianning Expressway in the west, Huai'an in the south and Binhai in the north, merchants will gather here and trade will flourish.
Nowadays, the development of the natural scenery tourist area along the ancient Yellow River has entered the implementation stage. The eight fairy mountains are like sacred places, rich in national traditional colors, and the background is like a peach blossom garden, coupled with the unique natural scenery. The landscape, the ancient Yellow River Laodui will become an important tourist area for people's leisure, tourism, entertainment and communication. Jiagang is located on the bank of the Yellow River in the west of Yangzhai Town. The famous Shanjiagang battle took place here. The Shanjiagang battle was the battle with the largest number of Japanese invaders in the Yanfu area.
It fully embodies our army's strategic thinking of using small forces to block attacks and large forces to move and disperse and hide. This battle was included in the Chinese Military Museum as a typical point battle example of defeating more with less.
On March 16, 1943, the 22nd Regiment of the 8th Brigade of the 3rd Division of the New Fourth Army, under the command of deputy commander Tong Shiming, fought fiercely for 10 hours with more than 300 Japanese troops at Huangying in Lianshui County. After wiping out more than 100 enemies, the 22nd Regiment used the cover of night to quietly move to Shanjiagang, Yangzhai Town, on the east bank of the ancient Yellow River to hide. On March 18, the Japanese army gathered more than 500 enemies in Bailugou, Dianhu and other places to search for the 22nd Regiment but failed. At dawn on March 19, the Eighth Company of the 22nd Regiment was hiding in a position on the east bank of the ancient Yellow River. , the Japanese troops departing from Dianhu along the ancient Yellow River for reconnaissance, were completely annihilated by the Eighth Company.
The Japanese army knew the main direction of the 22nd Regiment, and sent more than 100 Japanese troops at 11 a.m. to forcibly cross the river under the cover of artillery fire. The Japanese army rushed along the beach on the east bank of the ancient Yellow River to the New Fourth Army position 30 At the meter mark, the Eighth Company concentrated its firepower and opened fire on the Japanese army. The enemy was caught off guard and more than 60 people were killed. The remaining enemy fled back to the west bank.
Deputy commander Tong Shiming analyzed that the Japanese invaders came to seek revenge after being attacked by the New Fourth Army in Lianshui. Looking at the good situation, the possibility of two charges is very high. This is an excellent opportunity to annihilate the enemy.
At one o'clock in the afternoon, the Japanese army mobilized more than 600 people from Xueji, Dianhu and other places. Tong Shiming saw through the telescope that the Japanese invaders had several vehicles to mobilize troops, and immediately ordered several units of the 22nd Regiment to Heavy machine guns destroy enemy cars.
The Japanese invaders organized more than 200 people, and under the cover of more intense artillery fire, they forcibly crossed the river and rushed towards the New Fourth Army position. At that time, the east wind was blowing strongly, and dust was rising in front of the position, which was not conducive for the Japanese invaders to observe our position. The New Fourth Army took advantage of the characteristics of annihilating the enemy in close combat and distant combat, organized the entire regiment, and fired at the enemy. A grenade exploded in the enemy group. Corpses were everywhere in front of the enemy's position, with more than half of them dead or injured, and they fled in panic. While suppressing the position with more ferocious firepower, the Japanese army mobilized reinforcements from Dianhu, Xueji, and Bailugou, and launched a third charge towards the 22nd Regiment's position with more than 600 troops. All the soldiers of the 22nd Regiment were not afraid Sacrifice and the Japanese invaders launched a desperate struggle. All the light and heavy weapons of the 22nd Regiment fired at the enemy. The enemy's corpses were pressed in front of the position, and the enemy was never able to surpass the Chinese People's Liberation Army position.
The cunning Japanese army sent a small group of troops disguised as rebellious civilians to go around to the rear of the New Fourth Army, and set fire to houses in Shanjiagang Dongzhuang, firing guns and confusion. The Eighth Company suffered heavy losses, and the Japanese troops broke through some positions. In order to preserve his strength, Tong Shiming decisively ordered the troops to move to Fanjiadang. The 22nd Regiment quickly withdrew from the position. Deputy Commander Tong Shiming personally commanded the troops to cover behind. The distance between the enemy and ourselves was less than 100 meters. When the troops withdrew to the wooden bridge of Dasha River in Shanjiagang Street, Shan Shiming ordered machine gun cover and demolished it. When Tong Shiming lifted the last plank on the bridge, a stray bullet unfortunately hit Tong Shiming in the head. When his comrades carried him to Shanjiagangnan Gaozhuang, the 32-year-old deputy regiment leader Tong Shiming died heroically.
Zhang Aiping, deputy commander of the Third Division, drafted a new elegiac couplet to express his sincere condolences. In this battle, the 22nd Regiment of the Eighth Brigade of the Third Division of the New Fourth Army wiped out 264 Japanese troops at the cost of 23 people. At the place where Tong Shiming died, the martyrs who died in the blocking battle were buried. Zhang Aiping, deputy commander of the third division, drew up an elegiac couplet to express his condolences.
A single port will remain famous forever, its classics will be remembered, and its tombstones will be used to reminisce about the past. The Yellow River flows long, the beacon smoke is still blazing, and the good news breaks the heart. On the archway in front of the Martyrs Cemetery, a couplet is engraved. The wild smoke buries loyal bones. The fragrant grass in the setting sun lifts the loyal soul.
After Qin Shihuang destroyed the six kingdoms, he unified writing, currency, and weights and measures, strengthened his rule, burned books and harassed Confucianism at home, built the Great Wall in the north, and built the Five Ridges in the south. Afangguan was built in the west and the sea was filled in the east.
According to legend, Yingzheng once received a magic whip given by an immortal, which could move mountains. The first emperor then left the construction of the Great Wall and other matters to Meng Tian and others, and he personally led his followers to the mountains to the East Sea day and night, only to fill up the sea and expand the country's cultivated land area. When the Dragon King of the East China Sea heard about the First Emperor's drive to the mountains, he was so upset that he did not think about food and drink, and he was frowning all day long. One day, the Dragon King's third daughter said, "Why is my father so displeased with his face? Can I share my worries with my little daughter?" The Dragon King of the East China Sea told his third daughter about the First Emperor's victory in power and his drive to reclaim the mountains and seas. The third princess thought for a moment and suddenly knelt down on the ground: "Please allow the fifth father to leave the palace and go ashore to solve the urgent need." Donghailong had no good idea at the time, so he nodded in agreement.
After the three dragon girls came ashore, they chose a place and waved their sleeves. Suddenly, a green courtyard appeared in front of them, and the servants were tidying up in the courtyard happily.
The First Emperor rushed to the mountain and saw the red sun setting in the west. He felt sleepy. Seeing a courtyard in front of him, he sent someone to stay overnight. When the First Emperor saw the face of the Dragon King, who looked like a shy flower and the moon was closed, he She suddenly felt relaxed and happy, so she took her as a concubine that night. When the Dragon Girl slept with the First Emperor that night, she secretly exchanged the First Emperor's magic whip. When he woke up the next day, the First Emperor Yingzheng saw that he and his entourage were sleeping on the wasteland on the beach. Up there, there was no trace of the courtyard from last night. I had no choice but to continue driving up the mountain to the east, but when I waved my whip, the mountain didn't move. The First Emperor continued to wave his whip, but the mountain still didn't move. Only then did I know that the whip had been taken. He secretly changed, became furious, and whipped two mountains fiercely. One whip was hit on today's Houshagang, Huangxie, Lixin, and Xiaomazhuang lines; the other was hit on the Beiwan and Shizhuang Shagang lines of Xingou. The broken mountains turned into sand. This is how the sand in our area was formed.
