Tourism Regulations of Shandong Province (revised in 216)

Article 4 The people's governments at or above the county level shall strengthen the organization and leadership of tourism, incorporate the development of tourism into the national economic and social development plan, establish and improve the comprehensive coordination mechanism of tourism, and promote economic transformation and upgrading. Article 5 The people's governments at or above the county level shall establish a responsibility system for development objectives, incorporate the development of tourism into the assessment system of the people's governments at the next lower level and relevant departments, and reward units and individuals that have made outstanding contributions to the development of tourism in accordance with relevant regulations. Article 6 The tourism authorities of the people's governments at or above the county level shall play a comprehensive coordinating role and do a good job in the overall coordination, industrial promotion, planning and implementation, overall image promotion, supervision and management of tourism within their respective administrative areas.
