In 1997, Xiaoyang and the famous painter Zhong Changsheng sketched and created in Wuxi, Yixing, Suzhou and other places, and co-authored "Appreciation of Zhong Changsheng's Landscape Paintings" (Zhong Changsheng's paintings, Xiaoyang's poems) in Hebei Art Published by the publishing house, thirty paintings were exhibited at Xiaoyang's hometown in Xiangtou Village, Yixing.

In 2001, Xiaoyang organized the "Hundred Painters Painting Taihu Lake" event with great success, and edited and published the album "Hundreds of Famous Chinese Painters Painting Taihu Lake".
