The bus stop to Fenghuang county is not far from Huaihua station, and there are not many people going at this time, so I quickly bought a ticket and got on the bus to Fenghuang county. After a hearty meal, I can finally have a good look at the scenery in Xiangxi.

The mountains here are similar to those in Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. Most of the mountains in Yunnan are tall trees, pine trees and coniferous forests. I picked up my bag, got out of the car first and went straight to the door. There was a high bridge when I went out, so that scene actually became a place that I will never forget, and it appeared many times in my later dreams. Standing on the bridge, you can have a panoramic view of the whole ancient city of Fenghuang. The scenery of Phoenix is exquisite and compact, small and rich.

After watching the bridge quietly for dozens of minutes, ask the locals. I decided to get off the bridge, take a walk by the river and have a close look at the water in Tuojiang River.

Tuojiang River flows quietly and slowly, like a gentle girl rolling up her sleeves to paint, while the river in Yunnan is a tiger going down the mountain and a cheetah crossing the ridge, roaring forward.

Walking around the river bank, the sky gradually darkened, and my thoughts were pushed to the highest point by thousands of scenery such as ferries, verdant and diaojiao buildings, as if everything described in Shen Lao's article was still here and never far away.

The bustling crowd couldn't see their eyes. In my eyes, only pavilions, shops and swaying red willows reflect picturesque faces.

After browsing the scenery for a while, I forgot to eat, so I went to a local special bacon rice noodle shop for dinner. Maybe I was too hungry and thought it was delicious.

After dinner, I almost forgot the most important thing about this trip. I inquired about Mr. Shen Congwen's former residence, and then I put my bag on my back. Recalling those famous sentences of Shen Lao along the way, I arrived unconsciously. Thinking about the intention of not disturbing, I didn't take a photo of Congwen's former residence, but only took a sign on the road.
