A must-see spot for Beihai tourism?
Beihai must visit eight scenic spots: Weizhou Island, Crocodile Mountain Park, Catholic Church, Rainbow Beach, Dishui Danping, Yintan, Mangrove and Beihai Old Street.
1. Weizhou Island
Weizhou Island is located in the middle of Beibu Gulf in Beihai City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, bordering Beihai City in Guangxi in the north, Leizhou Peninsula in the east, Xieyang Island in the southeast, Hainan Island across the sea in the south and Vietnam in the west.
2. Crocodile Mountain Park
Weizhou Island Crocodile Mountain Scenic Area is located in Weizhou Island Crater Geopark in Beihai and is the core scenic spot of the Geopark. Weizhou Island Crater Geopark, located at the southwest end of Weizhou Island, is one of the main tourist attractions in Weizhou Island. There are many strange rocks and rocks in the scenic area, which have to make people marvel at the amazing nature.
3. Catholic Church
Located in Shengtang Village, Weizhou Island, the Catholic Church is the most magnificent church in the "Leilian" area in the late Qing Dynasty, which is hidden among the swaying banana forests and jackfruit forests.
4. Rainbow Beach

5. Dishui Danping
Dishui Danping is located on the south bank of Dishui Village in Weizhou Island, formerly known as Dishuiyan. The upper part of the cliff is shaded by trees, and the cracks between the upper layers of the wall often overflow with water, dripping down a little bit, such as hanging bamboo curtains. Due to marine erosion, the appearance of the rock is like a giant side "human head" with eyes, nose, mouth and hair (now collapsed), and the scenery is beautiful.
6. Yintan
Beihai Yintan is the only national-level tourist resort in China. The resort is located in the southern seashore of Beihai City, 8 kilometers away from the downtown area of Beihai City, and consists of the west area, the east area and the beach area in the sea area.
7. Mangroves
Mangroves are wetland woody plant communities that grow in intertidal zones of tropical and subtropical coasts and are composed of evergreen trees or shrubs. They play an important role in purifying seawater, preventing wind and waves, fixing and storing carbon, and maintaining biodiversity. They have the reputation of "coastal guards" and "marine green lungs", and are also important habitats for rare and endangered waterfowl, fish, shrimp and crabs.
8. Beihai Old Street
Beihai Old Street-Zhuhai Road is an old street with a history of nearly 2 years. It was built in 1821 and was called Shengping Street when it was first built. It was only 2 meters long and 4 meters wide. With the continuous development of various historical periods, it has become a commercial old street with a length of 1.44 kilometers and a width of 9 meters. The street is full of Chinese and Western arcade buildings.
