May Day Tour in Qingshangou, Dandong

Three days is just right. I come from Dandong. It's too cold to go to Qingshangou on May Day. It's not a good place for a spring outing, but it's still a good summer with pleasant scenery and cool climate. If you go, you can take a bus from Shenyang North Station to Qingshangou. There seems to be a train, but it's slower. Find a farmhouse to live in when you arrive. The farmhouse accommodation in Qingshangou is generally 20- 1 person/day in 30 yuan, with two or four rooms. Vegetables are also very cheap, and most of them are grown by farmers themselves. After check-in, you can go to Manchu-style village to watch performances and have a satisfactory dinner. The next morning, I went to Qingshan Lake by boat, and then drifted and rode horses. Remember to bring something to eat. You may not come back at noon. You can go to the painter village again when you have time. The next day, I will go to Waterfall Creek and Hutanggou. You must be prepared to climb the mountain, because climbing Jiuqu Tianhou Mountain Road in Hutanggou will be steep, but the scenery will be beautiful. Don't climb if you are weak and timid. Rest at night and go home on the third day.

Tickets for five scenic spots in Qingshangou are about 100 yuan/person. Don't go with the travel agency. That is to see flowers, you can bring your own tourist map and go deep into the mountains. It's a pure natural scenery.
